An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 21, 22, 24, 30 and 31 of chapter 48 of the acts of assembly of 1922, entitled an act to encourage the co-operative marketing of farm products in Virginia, to provide for and authorize the incorporation of co-operative marketing associations or exchanges and the licensing to do business in Virginia of similar corporations created in other states under similar laws; to enlarge the same so as to include co-operative purchasing; and to add a new section thereto, to be designated as section 29-a, and to prescribe penalties.

Chapter 399

An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new chapter, numbered 126-a, and nine new Code sections, 3165-a, 3165-b, 3165-c, 3165-d, 3165-e, 3165-f, 3165-g, 3165-h and 3165-i, providing for the creation of forest, game, fish and recreation reserves; providing for their care; deferring the payment of taxes thereon; providing for the accrual of such taxes; making all taxes assessed against such area, liens thereon; prescribing the duties of purchasers of the timber; the duties of the department of conservation and development, and the various commissions in that department, and the commission of game and inland fisheries, and their officers and employees; authorizing boards of supervisors to accept the provisions of this act, and providing for all things necessary or incident to the establishment of such forest, game, fish and recreation reserves.

Chapter 400

An ACT to amend and re-enact sections (d) and (n) of the definition clause defining “tractor trucks” and “highways” and sections 3, 9, 46, 47, 48, 51, 66, 67 and 71 of chapter 474 of the acts of the general assembly of Virginia, session of 1926, relating to the operation of motor vehicles upon the public highways, and to repeal section 56%, as amended, of said chapter.
