Chap. 311.—-An ACT to provide for the sale and conveyance of a small lot
of land now a part of the State penitentiary farm in Goochland county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
president of the State prison board, be, and, he is, hereby, empowered
to make a sale and conveyance to the adjoining land owner of a small
lot or parcel of land, situate in the county of Goochland, which is a
part of the State penitentiary farm, containing approximately three
and three-quarter acres, which has been cut off from the main body of
the said farm by relocation of route number nineteen of the State high-
way system, upon terms satisfactory to the State prison board, with
the approval of the governor.
Any conveyance of the parcel of land herein mentioned shall be
executed by the president of the State prison board, and when so exe-
cuted and duly acknowledged, shall pass to the purchaser such title
thereto as is now vested in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
