An ACT to provide for the sale of property, real and personal, held subject to a deed or deeds of trust, to secure the payment of money, or any evidence of debt, where there is no date fixed for the payment thereof, and for the investment of the proceeds of sale under decree of court subject to the terms of said deed or deeds of trust.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1 of an act entitled an act to authorize the board of supervisors of counties having a density of population of more than five hundred per square mile according to the last United States census, to divide the area of said counties into one or more districts and in such districts to regulate the use of land and of buildings or other structures, and the height thereof, and also to establish building lines and to regulate and restrict the construction and location of buildings and other structures in said counties; to authorize such boards of supervisors to adopt all necessary regulations for carrying into effect the purposes of this act; to provide for zoning commissioners and boards of zoning appeals in such counties, their powers and duties; to provide for appeals from such zoning commissioners and boards of appeal and the effect thereof; to authorize such boards of supervisors to appoint administrative officers; to prescribe the powers and duties of such administrative officers; to provide for the enforcement of this act and to prescribe penalties for the violation thereof, approved April 11, 1927, as amended by an act approved March 24, 1930, extending said act to cover every county of the Commonwealth adjoining a city having a population of 170,000 or more, as shown by the last United States census, so as to further extend said act to include every county having a population of over 25,000 inhabitants and which adjoins two cities, both of which are located in this State and have an aggregate population of not less than 165,000 nor more than 185,000 inhabitants.
An ACT giving authority to the Miller manual labor school of Albemarle, to sell and convey its real estate when, in the opinion of its board of trustees, the real estate to be conveyed is not needed for the use and purposes of said corporation and the sale and conveyance thereof is in furtherance of such uses and purposes, and ratifying the conveyances which have heretofore been made.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 1, 2, 17 and 19 of an act entitled an act to create the Northern Virginia park and planning district; to provide for the creation and powers of the Northern Virginia park and planning commission, including the making of a plan for the development of said district; the regulation of the subdivision of land within said district; the regulation of buildings in planned streets within said district; and other matters relating to the making, protecting and preserving the integrity of and carrying out the said plan for the said district; and providing for the levying of a tax and the expenditure thereof for carrying out the purposes of said commission, approved March 25, 1930. fH B 392
An ACT to provide for the collection and disposal of taxes which prior to the segregation of land and tangible personal property to the localities, were assessed upon land and tangible personal property for any State purpose or purposes, and which are now delinquent; and to repeal an act entitled an act to extend and complete the segregation of taxes upon real estate and tangible personal property and to provide that all taxes which were assessed thereon for State purposes, and which on June 16, 1930 were delinquent, shall be paid to the county, city or town in which the land now lies or in which the tangible personal property was assessed

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 38 of an act entitled an act to provide a new charter for the city of Lynchburg, Virginia, approved March 21, 1928, as heretofore amended, defining the powers of the council of said city and relating to when certain ordinances shall be published and take effect.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding to chapter two hundred sixty-four thereof a new section numbered 6298-a, providing for the appointment of substitute trustees in discretionary trusts, and the exercise of personal confidence and discretionary powers by such substituted trustees.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 6469 of the Code of Virginia, as heretofore amended, relating to lis pendens and attachment.
An ACT to authorize the rector and visitors of the University of Virginia to convey all right, title and interest of the Commonwealth, of the University of Virginia and of the rector and visitors of the University of Virginia in and to a certain strip of land to the city of Charlottesville for the purpose of widening Main street in said city.
An ACT to release all liens upon real estate for taxes and levies due and payable to the Commonwealth or any political sub-division thereof prior to January 1, 1926; to provide that the right, title and interest of the Commonwealth in and to all real estate sold for taxes and levies assessed prior to January 1, 1916, which real estate has been purchased by the Commonwealth and not resold is released unto and vested by operation of law in the person or persons who owned the real estate at the time the Commonwealth so acquired title, or persons claiming, or to claim by, through or under them; and to provide that on and after July 1, 1936, no clerk shall make a tax deed conveying any real estate sold for delinquent taxes or levies assessed prior to January 1, 1916.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new section to be numbered section 5216-b, relating to the recordation of judgments, orders and decrees of United States courts affecting the title to, boundary or possession of, or any interest in and to real estate situated within this State.
An ACT to authorize and empower the board of supervisors of Orange county to transfer certain road bond sinking funds of the Madison district of said county to the school board sinking fund of said district, for use in paying school bonds of said district.
