An ACT to provide, with certain conditions and restrictions, a site on a portion of the land in the western section of the city of Richmond known as the Soldiers’ Home property, for the establishment and conduct thereon by the Home for Needy Confederate Women, a corporation existing under the laws of Virginia, of a home for the needy widows, wives, sisters and daughters of Confederate soldiers, sailors and marines, such home to be a memorial to the women of the Southern Confederacy.
An ACT to permit the board of visitors of the College of William and Mary to dispose of certain parcels of land.
An ACT to provide a new charter for the town of Waverly, and to repeal all acts or parts of acts in conflict herewith, and to declare all contracts and obligations heretofore or hereafter made by the council and government of the town of Waverly and all powers heretofore or hereafter exercised by them, while in office to be legal and valid.

An ACT authorizing the military board to sell and convey or exchange certain property belonging to the Commonwealth in Princess Anne county, known as Camp Trinkle, at such time and for such price and upon such conditions as said military board may deem advisable, and to use the proceeds of sale for the purchase and equipment of a camp site and rifle range elsewhere.

An ACT to authorize the College of William and Mary in Virginia to sell, or otherwise dispose of, the property, held by it, known as the “Matthew Whaley school’ property.

An ACT to ratify and confirm certain deeds and conveyances heretofore made by the town of Strasburg through its mayor and councilmen of certain portions of what is known in a plat of said town as the public square at the intersection of Main and Holliday streets, and to divest the town of Strasburg from all right, title and estate to the said four corners of said square, and to confirm the title to the portions of said square so conveyed to the present owners thereof and to their heirs and assigns.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 5349 of the Code of Virginia, as amended by chapter 540 of the acts of 1926, approved March 25, 1926, in relation to transfer of property in this State belonging to non-resident decedents.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 5540 of the Code of Virginia, relating to emblements.
An ACT to authorize the city of Newport News to borrow a sum not exceeding forty thousand dollars and issue bonds therefor, to be used for the purchase of municipal equipment for said city.
An ACT for the relief of the estates of L. H. Kemp and E. L. Tiller, deceased, and for the relief of W. L. Brittle, W. M. Milam and Robert Rose.
An ACT to provide for the appointment of trustees to hold gifts, grants, or devises of real estate for charitable purposes to unincorporated bodies or societies, and to prescribe the powers and duties of such trustees.

An ACT to validate the title acquired by the purchasers under tax deeds from the clerks of court, under the provisions of chapter 28 of the Code of Virginia of 1887, under the provisions of chapter 52 of acts of 1906, approved February 23, 1906, and under the provisions of chapter 99 of the Code of Virginia, 1919, and acts amendatory thereof, and to provide a time within which objections may be made to such deeds, or any entry may be made on, or an action may be brought to recover the land conveyed by such deeds.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section thirteen of the charter of the town of Bedford, as heretofore amended.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Roanoke county to enact an ordinance requiring building permits for the construction, repair or improvement of certain buildings located in subdivisions of land, and to prescribe penalties.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 28 of chapter 407 of the acts of the general assembly of 1924, page 593, approved March 20, 1924, concerning intoxicating liquors, as amended in chapter 231 of the acts of the general assembly of 1926, page 417, approved March 23, 1926.
An ACT to reimburse John FE. Ross for a certain sum improperly paid into the treasury of the State of Virginia.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1983 of the Code of Virginia, relating to paying of viewers, commissioners and surveyor; mileage.
An ACT to provide for a commission to confer with a similar commission to be appointed by the State of Maryland and, subject to the approval of the general assembly of Virginia, to endeavor to reach a satisfactory settlement of the dispute now existing between the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Maryland, with reference to the right of the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia to fish in the Potomac river: to prescribe the powers and duties of such commission, and to provide a sum sufficient to pay the actual expenses of the members of the commission and such other incidental expenses as may be incurred in the performance of the duties required by this act.
An ACT for the protection of all fur-bearing animals in the county of Halifax
An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to validate certain certificates of acknowledgments to deeds and other writings recorded in Virginia taken by commissioners of deeds appointed by governors of States other than the governor of Virginia, approved February 26, 1924, so as to include notaries public appointed by the governor of Virginia, approved March 6, 1926, so as to include notaries public of States other than Virginia.

An ACT to authorize and empower the city of Suffolk to acquire by purchase, the lot and building owned by Washington Square Realty Corporation, and situated on the corner of west Washington street and south Saratoga street, in said city; to use a portion of the lot for widening and improving west Washington street; to remodel and improve the residue of said property, and to own, hold and use, rent, lease or sell the same or any part thereof; and to borrow money for said purposes and issue and sell bonds therefor.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 of chapter 473, of the acts of assembly of 1924, entitled “an act to provide a new charter for the city of Roanoke and to repeal the existing charter of said city and the several acts amendatory thereof, and all other acts or parts of acts inconsistent with this act, so far as they relate to the city of Roanoke,” as last amended by chapter 333 of the acts of assembly of 1928
An ACT to authorize and empower the board of visitors of the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind to sell and convey a farm belonging to said school, commonly known as the Vincent property.
