An ACT to amend and re-enact section 5125 of the Code of Virginia, concerning the assignment of dower, as heretofore amended.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Richmond county to settle by compromise or other agreement the lines between the court house bounds of Richmond county and the adjoining property owners and to make and execute proper conveyances to carry out these; or to make and execute quit claim deeds to such adjoining property owners where said lines are in doubt or dispute; and to authorize said board to acquire additional land adjoining said court house bounds.

An ACT to provide for the release of liens and encumbrances upon motor vehicles, and to prescribe penalties for failing to make such release.
AN ACT to provide a new charter for the town of Colonial Heights, Chesterfield county, Virginia, and to repeal all acts or parts of acts in conflict therewith.
An ACT to provide for general reassessments of real estate in any incorporated town in this State located partly in two or more counties, and to provide for the review of such reassessments, and for the annual assessment of persons and property.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1 of an act entitled an act to authorize the board of supervisors of counties having a density of population of more than five hundred per square mile according to the last United States census, to divide the area of said counties into one or more districts and in such districts to regulate the use of land and of buildings or other structures, and the height thereof, and also to establish building lines and to regulate and restrict the construction and location of buildings and other structures in said counties; to authorize such boards of supervisors to adopt all necessary regulations for carrying into effect the purposes of this act; to provide for zoning commissioners and boards of zoning appeals in such counties, their powers and duties; to provide for appeals from such zoning commissioners and boards of appeal and the effect thereof; to authorize such boards of supervisors to appoint administrative officers; to prescribe the powers and duties of such administrative officers; to provide for the enforcement of this act and to prescribe penalties for the violation thereof, approved April 11, 1927, so as to extend said act to cover every county of the Commonwealth adjoining a city, having a population of one hundred and seventy thousand, or more, as shown by the last United States census.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new chapter, numbered 126-a, and nine new Code sections, 3165-a, 3165-b, 3165-c, 3165-d, 3165-e, 3165-f, 3165-g, 3165-h and 3165-i, providing for the creation of forest, game, fish and recreation reserves; providing for their care; deferring the payment of taxes thereon; providing for the accrual of such taxes; making all taxes assessed against such area, liens thereon; prescribing the duties of purchasers of the timber; the duties of the department of conservation and development, and the various commissions in that department, and the commission of game and inland fisheries, and their officers and employees; authorizing boards of supervisors to accept the provisions of this act, and providing for all things necessary or incident to the establishment of such forest, game, fish and recreation reserves.
An ACT to authorize the State highway commissioner to take road materials from streams, rivers and water courses, title to the bed of which is in the Commonwealth, and to prohibit the removal of materials from such streams, rivers and water courses without permit from the State highway commission.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 13 of an act approved July 11, 1870, providing a charter for the town of West Point, in King William county.
An ACT to amend and re-enact chapter 422 of the acts of assembly of 1926, concerning elk in the counties of Giles, Bland, Pulaski, Montgomery and Craig, as amended by chapter 202 of the acts of assembly of 1928.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 3282 and 3287 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, in relation to oysters and clams, so as to include crab-meat and scallops within the provisions of said sections.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 242, 243, 244, 247, 250, 251, 253, 273, 275, 344, 345, 346, 347, 348, and 435 of the tax Code of Virginia, and to repeal sections 245, 246, 248, and 249 of the tax Code of Virginia, section 244 having been amended by an act approved March 28, 1928, all of which sections relate to the assessment and taxation of real estate, except section 435, which relates both to real and personal property.

An ACT to authorize the board of directors of the Central State Hospital, at Petersburg, to convey a certain portion of the real estate belonging to said hospital to the United States for inclusion in the Petersburg national military park; to declare null and void the deed executed by the board of directors of the Central State Hospital to the United States, and to repeal chapter 294 of the acts of 1928, approved March 21, 1928.
AN ACT authorizing the Standard Dredging Company to construct a bulkhead between Thirty-eighth and Forty-ninth streets, extended, in the city of Norfolk, and to deposit excavated material behind said bulkhead.
An ACT to authorize and empower the council of the town of Cape Charles to compel the property owners, in said town to construct and/or maintain the sidewalks abutting their property.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sub-section (b) of section thirty-four of chapter sixty-four of the acts of nineteen hundred and twenty-two, entitled an act to provide a new charter for the city of Suffolk, and to repeal the existing charter of said city and the several acts amendatory thereof and all other acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act, so far as they relate to the said city of Suffolk, approved February twenty-fifth, nineteen hundred and twenty-two, and to add eight new and additional sub-sections to said section thirty-four, to be known and designated as sub-sections (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (h), (i), and (j), with reference to the sale of real estate delinquent for the non-payment of city taxes, purchase by the city, redemption of land so sold, saving to persons under disability, deed to purchases, title of purchases, title of city, and sale for the non-payment of local assessments, etc.
An ACT to provide for the recordation of plats of subdivision of land located in or within not more than two miles of any incorporated town, for the vacation thereof, for the construction of public improvements therein and for the rights of such incorporated towns in connection therewith.
An ACT to authorize the military board of the Commonwealth to exchange by conveyance with the Norfolk Southern Railroad Company a new right of way through the State rifle range in Princess Anne county, and sufficient land for a station and siding, in return for the old right of way of the Norfolk Southern Railroad Company through the State rifle range; and to ratify certain acts of the military board heretofore taken in connection with the exchange herein authorized.
An ACT to authorize and empower the board of supervisors of Dickenson county, Virginia, to convey by proper deed all its title and interest in the Dickenson County Memorial and Industrial High School building and the grounds and appurtenances thereto belonging, to the Dickenson county school board.

AN ACT to amend sections 6 and 7 of chapter 197 of the 1926 acts of assembly, approved March 18, 1926, entitled an act to authorize the councils, or other governing bodies of cities and towns of the Commonwealth, to divide the municipal area into one or more districts, and in such districts to regulate the use of land and of buildings or other structures and the height thereof, and also to establish building lines and to regulate and restrict the construction and location of buildings and other structures, and to repeal an act entitled an act to authorize the councils or other governing bodies of cities of the Commonwealth to divide the municipal area into one or more districts, and in such districts to regulate the use of land and of buildings or other structures, and the height thereof, and, also to establish building lines and to regulate and restrict the construction and location of buildings and other structures, approved February 17, 1922.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 4730 of the Code of Virginia, in relation to public roads, so as to prohibit the erection or maintenance of any structure that would obstruct the view at road and railway crossings, and to prescribe penalties for violations.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto ten new sections, numbered 3074-a to 3074-i, both inclusive, authorizing and empowering cities and incorporated towns in this Commonwealth to acquire by lease, purchase or condemnation proceedings any land within, or (with the consent of the local authorities where such land is situated) without the limits of said cities or towns for the purpose of establishing and maintaining municipal airports or aviation landing fields, and to establish, construct, improve, equip, maintain and operate said airports or landing fields, and to provide for the procedure in cases of condemnation and the extent of title acquired; authorizing the lease by the said cities or incorporated towns of the whole or portions thereof to individuals or corporations and the operation of the same, or any part thereof, on such terms and subject to such conditions as may be provided by the local legislative body of said city or incorporated town, and the lease thereof to the government of the United States upon nominal or other rental, or without consideration for aviation, mail delivery or other aviation purposes.
An ACT to create the northern Virginia park and planning district; to provide for the creation and powers of the northern Virginia park and planning commission, including the making of a plan for the development of said district; the regulation of the sub-division of land within said district; the regulation of buildings in planned streets within said district; and other matters relating to the making, protecting and preserving the integrity of and carrying out the said plan for the said district; and providing for the levying of a tax and the expenditure thereof for carrying out the purposes of said commission.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Appomattox county to donate and convey to the United States government the old courthouse lot containing one acre, more or less, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose of providing a suitable place for the erection of a suitable monument commemorating the termination of the War between the States.

An ACT to create an armory commission for the State of Virginia and specify its authority and duties; to authorize said commission to construct and maintain armories, drill and training areas for the National Guard and Naval Militia and their various units; to authorize municipalities, counties, and the State and others to co-operate in and about the construction of armories and providing drill and training areas and to assist in paying therefor; and to authorize municipalities and counties to convey to the State of Virginia lands owned by them on which to construct armories, whether such lands already be used for parks or other purposes.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 6049 of the Code of Virginia, as heretofore amended, in relation to jurisdiction of courts.
An ACT to appropriate the public revenue for the two years ending respectively on the thirtieth day of June, 1933, and the thirtieth day of June, 1934.

An ACT authorizing and empowering the town council of the town of Scottsville, in Albemarle county, Virginia, to sell certain real estate owned by said town, and to convey title thereto to the purchaser, or purchasers.
An ACT to provide for relief from taxes and levies erroneously or improperly assessed after July 10, 1902, and prior to March 31, 1926, against real estate in cases where such real estate was returned delinquent for the non-payment of such taxes and levies, was sold for the satisfaction thereof, and bought by the Commonwealth, and not thereafter redeemed, or purchased from the Commonwealth by any other person.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 35 and 65, as heretofore amended, of an act entitled “an act to provide a new charter for the town of Covington, in the county of Alleghany, and to repeal all other acts with reference thereto,” approved April 2, 1902, the sections here amended being in relation to the town council, and to repeal all acts and parts of acts in conflict.
