An ACT to authorize and direct the auditor of public accounts and the clerk of the circuit court of Henrico county to mark off the tax books of said county certain unpaid taxes charged against the estate of A. P. Russell deceased.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 12, 20-a, 29, 30, 31, 32, 35, 39, 40, 41, 50, 53, 55, 61, 63, 65, 67, 69 and 75, of an act entitled an act to prevent industrial accidents: ‘to provide medical and surgical care for injured employees; to establish rates of compensation for personal injuries or death sustained by employees in the course of employment; to provide methods for insuring the payment of such compensation; to create an industrial commission for the administration of this act, and to prescribe the powers and duties of such commission; to levy a tax and appropriate funds for the administration of this act
An ACT to require persons, firms, corporations and associations soliciting subscriptions or contributions to any cause or thing, with certain exceptions, to keep adequate books showing all sums collected, and how, to whom and for what disbursed; providing for inspection of such books, and prescribing punishment for failure to comply with this act.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 2255, 2256, 2257 and 2258 of the Code of Virginia, as heretofore amended, and to repeal sections 2259, 2260, 2261, and 2262 of the Code of Virginia, as heretofore amended, with reference to the assessment of taxes.

An ACT to authorize the city of Newport News to borrow a sum of money not exceeding one hundred thousand ($100,000.00) dollars, and to issue bonds therefor, sixteen thousand ($16,000.00) dollars of which is for permanent improvements on sewers and streets, and eighty-four thousand ($84,000.00) dollars to reimburse the general fund for moneys already expended for permanent improvements on sewers and streets.
An ACT authorizing the county school board of Chesterfield county to borrow not in excess of $25,000.00, and to issue its bonds therefor, for the purpose of making additions to the Belmeade school in Manchester school district of said county and to provide additional high school facilities in said district; providing for the submission of the question of issuance of said bonds to a vote of the people of said district; and requiring the board of supervisors to levy annually a tax to pay the interest on such bonds, and to create a sinking fund to redeem the principal thereof at maturity.

An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Rockingham county to issue time warrants for an amount not exceeding $20,000.00, for a period of not exceeding four years.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of counties and the councils of cities and towns, and the officers of counties, cities and towns who are empowered to purchase supplies for local public use, to seek the aid and co-operation of the State purchasing agent in purchasing such supplies; and to make it the duty of the State purchasing agent to encourage the seeking of such aid and co-operation, and to render the same when sought.
An ACT to regulate the duties of the board of supervisors of Scott county, Virginia, and directing them to publish amount of funds received and expended by them and fixing a penalty for their failure todo so.
An ACT to repeal an act entitled an act to provide for the working of the public roads in the county of Charlotte, for the creation of district road boards in said county, and for the repeal of ‘all acts in conflict therewith, approved March 20, 1916, and all acts amendatory thereof, and to bring Charlotte county within the provisions of the general laws of the State Pa roads and highways, with certain exceptions.
An ACT authorizing the county school board of Chesterfield county to borrow money, not in excess of $60,000.00, and to issue its bonds therefor, for the purpose of making additions to and improvements in, and equipping school buildings in Bermuda school district; and requiring the board of supervisors of said county annually to levy a tax to pay the interest thereon, and to create a sinking fund to redeem the principal thereof at maturity.
An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act authorizing the board of supervisors of Patrick and Grayson counties, respectively, to levy a capitation tax for school or other county purposes
An ACT to authorize, the county school board of Lee county to issue and sell bonds for the purpose of providing additional high school buildings at Pennington Gap and St. Charles in Rocky Station district of said county; and to levy a tax for the retirement of the same; and to provide for the submission of the question of the issuance of said bonds to a vote of the people of a district.
An ACT to require the State accountant to prepare and cause to be published annually a statement showing in detail the comparative cost of local government as among counties and cities of the State and the per capita cost thereof.

An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Wise county to issue bonds or other obligations of said county on behalf of Gladeville magisterial district thereof for a sum not exceeding $50,000, for the purpose of providing funds to be loaned the State highway commission of Virginia, to be used in the construction of that section of road in the State highway system extending 1.6 miles westwardly from the town of Norton in said district; and to levy taxes to pay the interest thereon, and to create a sinking fund for the payment of the principal thereof at maturity; and to authorize the State highway commission of Virginia to borrow said funds to finance the work aforesaid and to repay the same to said board of supervisors as funds are available
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Arlington county to borrow money and to issue certain time warrants therefor.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 8 of an act entitled an act to provide for working and keeping in repair the public roads and bridges of Botetourt county, and to repeal an act entitled an act to provide for the working and keeping in repair the public roads of Botetourt county, approved March fourth, eighteen hundred and ninety-six, and an act amendatory thereof, approved February fourteenth, nineteen hundred and one, approved March fifteenth, nineteen hundred and six, as heretofore amended.

An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Tazewell county issue county bonds to an amount not exceeding one hundred thousagd dollars ($100,000.00), part of the proceeds of which shall be expended in refunding to to the treasurer of Tazewell county certain funds heretofore advanced to the State highway commission of Virginia, and the residue to be used in meeting the residue of the obligation of said board of supervisors to the said State highway commission of Virginia, by virtue of a certain contract.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section one of an act approved March 20, 1920, entitled an act in relation to local school taxes; and repealing sections 740 and 2721 of the Code of Virginia, as amended by an act approved March 20, 1923.

An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 5, 11, 19, 26 and 30 of an act entitled -an act concerning weights and measures; and to repeal sections 1464 to 1470, both inclusive, and sections 1472 to 1485, both inclusive, of the Code of Virginia, approved March 14, 1924, and to amend the said act by adding thereto five new sections to be numbered sections 14, 16, 20, 22 and 2414.

An Act Authorizing the Board of Supervisors of Princess Anne County to Borrow Money for Road Improvement
AN ACT to validate an issue of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) bonds of the town of Lexington, in the county of Rockbridge, for the purpose of erecting additional school buildings and equipment therefor, for the white and colored schools of said town, and providing for the levy of taxes for the payment thereof.
JOINT RESOLUTION proposing an amendment to section 184 of the Constitution of Virginia.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Arlington county to establish and maintain, or cause to be established and maintained, public sewers.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of the county of Isle of Wight to levy district road taxes in excess of the maximum now authorized by general law, and to provide for the collection and expenditure thereof.
An ACT for the protection of foxes or other fur-bearing or hair-bearing animals, in Amelia, Nottoway, Lunenburg, Brunswick, Charlotte, Franklin, Tazewell, Washington, and Chesterfield counties, and to provide punishment for the violation thereof.

An ACT to authorize and direct the board of supervisors of the county of Southampton to pay into the treasury of the county of Nansemond the sum of $3,000.00 due the latter county under an agreement entered into in the year 1921.
An ACT to authorize the governing boards of certain State institutions of ‘higher education to issue and sell, through the commissioners of the sinking fund, and subject to the approval of the State Board of Education, certificates of indebtedness in the names and on behalf of their institutions, respectively, to raise funds for dormitory construction purposes
An ACT to require the boards of supervisors of the counties and the councils or other governing bodies of cities and towns to prepare and publish annual budgets, to hold public hearings thereon, and to give publicity to proposed increases in the local tax levies; to provide for regular audits by the State accountant in the counties, and to prescribe the duties and powers of such accountant in reference thereto.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2075 of the Code of Virginia, as amended by an act approved March 15, 1922, and Section 2003 of the Code of Virginia, in respect to the working of prisoners on the public roads.

An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Pittsylvania county, Virginia, to issue road bonds of Pittsylvania county in the aggregate amount of $100,000, and to provide for the payment of the interest thereon and the principal thereof at maturity.
An ACT to authorize, empower and direct the board of supervisors of the county of Princess Anne to borrow money by the issue of bonds in the aggregate sum of one hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000.00) for the purpose of purchasing, building and improving roads and bridges in Seaboard magisterial district in said county: to sell the said bonds; to provide for the payment of interest thereon and principal thereof and to authorize the commission of roads and bridges of Princess Anne county for Seaboard magisterial district, to dispense the funds so obtained.
An ACT to require the approval of the qualified voters of Dickenson county on certain local questions; to prohibit the board of supervisors of the said county from appropriating the county levy for certain purposes; to limit the rates of levy in the said county; and to invest the court or judge with certain authority.
An ACT to authorize the county school board of Bath county to borrow money, not in excess of $45,000.00, and to issue its bonds therefor, for the purpose of purchasing land, and constructing and equipping a high school building to be located near Hot Springs, Virginia, for the joint use and benefit of the Warm Springs school district number one, and Cedar Creek school district number two, of the said county, and to require the board of supervisors to levy a tax to pay the interest thereon and to create a sinking fund to redeem the principal thereof at maturity.
An ACT to amend and re-enact subsection 2 of section 5 of an act approved March 27, 1918, entitled an act to amend and re-enact an act approved March 3, 1898, entitled an act to prescribe the mode in which clerks of courts shall keep a record of all taxes and other public moneys collected by them, and to require them to pay the same into the treasury, as amended by an act approved March 27, 1914; and to require the clerk in connection therewith, to keep a record of fees received.
