An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to amend and re-enact an act for working and keeping in repair the roads of Tazewell county, approved February 24, 1888, and further to provide for permanent improvement of the roads in said county, approved February 29, 1892, as amended and re-enacted by an act approved February 12, 1894, as amended by an act approved January 11, 1900, and as amended and re-enacted by an act approved January 27, 1900, and as amended and re-enacted by an act approved December 17, 1901, and as amended and re-enacted by an act approved March 8, 1910, and as amended and re-enacted by an act approved March 13, 1912, and as amended and re-enacted by an act approved March 4, 1914, and as amended and re-enacted by an act approved March 16, 1916, and to provide for the working, repairing, maintaining and improving the roads in Tazewell county.
An ACT to require railway companies, operating by electric power or steam, and their employees, to clear from their rights-of-way, brush and trees at public grade crossings along their line.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 15 of an act entitled an act to provide a special road law for the county of Fauquier; to provide for the working and keeping in repair of the public roads in said county and to create separate district road boards in each of the several magisterial districts thereof; to authorize the erection of toll gates and the collection of tolls upon certain public roads therein, and making certain provisions for the enforcement and collection of said tolls and the protection of the said roads, and the property of said district road boards, and providing certain penalties for the violation thereof, and to repeal all special acts heretofore enacted in reference to the public roads of said county, and to validate the official acts of certain officers under laws heretofore in effect in said county, and to prescribe a penalty for the violation thereof; and to add an independent section thereto, numbered 1514, so as to require the owners or occupants of land abutting on any public road to keep the same free from certain obstructions, approved February 2, 1915, as amended by an act approved March 20, 1916.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 6 of the road law of Montgomery county, as approved March 14, 1910, which is chapter 173 of the acts of the general assembly of 1910.
An ACT to authorize the mayor and council of the city of Williamsburg, in the county of James City, State of Virginia, to borrow money, issue warrants and bonds therefor, for the purpose of erecting a public school building, building a concrete street from the corporate limits on York street to the corporate limits on Richmond avenue, and to complete the water and sewer systems of the said city, and providing for submission of the issuance of bonds for these purposes to the qualified voters of the said city.
An ACT to repeal an act entitled an act to amend and re-enact an act to provide for the opening, altering, changing and working the public roads in the county of Warren, approved February 18, 1886, to provide for the working, repairing, opening, altering, changing and building of the public roads, bridges, ferries and landings in Warren county, Virginia, as amended by an act approved March 18, 1908.
An ACT to validate, ratify, approve and confirm bonds heretofore and hereafter issued on elections heretofore held authorizing the issuance of such bonds by any county of the State for the purpose of macadamizing or otherwise improving public roads or bridges of magisterial districts of said county.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Warren county to borrow certain sums of money not exceeding one hundred thousand dollars, and issue bonds therefor, for the permanent improvement and construction of certain roads in Front Royal, Cedarville, and Fork magisterial districts of said county.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Henry county to borrow the sum of $50,000.00 to be used for the construction and permanent improvement of roads and bridges in said county under the supervision of the State highway commissioner or the board of supervisors of said county and to provide for the payment of same and to provide for the retirement of any notes or bonds which may have been issued by said board pursuant to acts of the general assembly, approved March 9, 1918, and March 14, 1918, and to repeal all acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act.
An ACT to authorize the Chincoteague Toll Road and Bridge Company, Incorporated, to cross, maintain and operate a public toll bridge and road across certain lowlands, marshes and meadows in the county of Accomac.
An ACT to appropriate the sum of $800,000 to supplement any appropriation heretofore or hereafter made to carry out the provisions of an act entitled an act to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to provide for State money aid in addition to convict labor, for the improvement of public roads, approved February 25, 1908, as amended and re-enacted by an act approved February 25, 1910, as further amended and re-enacted by an act approved February 29, 1916, approved March 27, 1918.
An ACT to amend and re-enact chapter 301 of acts of the general assembly of 1889-1890, entitled an act to provide for the drainage of low lands in Northampton and Accomac counties.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Wise county to borrow money and issue bonds of the Gladeville magisterial district thereof for a sum not exceeding $80,000.00 for the purpose of constructing and improving a public road and the necessary bridges on and along same, in the said Gladeville magisterial district along the Roaring Fork of Powell’s river and the Pot Camp Fork of said Roaring Fork, beginning at the Richmond magisterial district line at the northern end of the said district public road leading from the State highway between Appalachia and Norton, thence up and near Roaring Fork and Pot Camp Fork through the villages of Roaring Fork and Dunbar to the village of Pardee in said Gladeville magisterial district, and to levy taxes to pay the interest thereon and to create a sinking fund for the payment of such bonds at maturity.

An ACT to authorize the military board to pay out of the military fund, the sum of $7,200, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the transportation expenses of the officers and cadets of the Virginia Military Institute in attending the unveiling of a statue of General Thomas J. (Stonewall) Jackson.
An ACT to permit the county of Fauquier to issue bonds for Cedar Run magisterial district, of Fauquier county, for the purpose of permanent improvement of roads and bridges in said district, not exceeding twenty per cent of assessed value of taxable property in said district and to levy a tax not exceeding $1.80 on the $100.00 as-assessed valuation of the taxable property in said district subject to county and district taxation, to provide for payment of interest on said bonds and a sinking fund for the payment of the principal of said bonds, and for the upkeep of said roads so constructed, and the other roads in said district.
