AN ACT to authorize the Board of Visitors of The Virginia Poly-technic Institute to sell certain lands at private or public sale, and to appropriate the proceeds from the sale of any such lands to the general fund of the State treasury.
AN ACT to provide additional methods of vacating certain streets or alleys or parts thereof; to establish certain presumptions in connection therewith; to prescribe the effect of such procedure, and to limit the effect thereof as to public streets or alleys.

AN ACT to amend and reenact § 15-781 of the Code of 1950, relating to subdivisions of land.
An Act to amend and reenact § 26 of Chapter 809 of the Acts of Assembly of 1920, approved March 19, 1920, which provided a charter for the city of Bristol, the section relating to the city treasurer of the city; and to amend said act by adding a new section numbered 4-a, conferring power on the city of Bristol to require connection with the sewerage system and to impose and collect fees, rents and charges for water and sewer services.
AN ACT to ratify and confirm a deed from Virginia Military Institute, dated February 8, 1927, conveying five acres of land, more or less, with improvements thereon, in Rockbridge County, Virginia, to Mrs. Martha Field Blair, of Rockbridge County, Virginia.
AN ACT to amend and reenact §§ 15-798, 15-808 and 15-814 of the Code of 1950, relating to vacation of certain plats, so as to provide that the methods of vacation therein provided for shall not be exclusive.

AN ACT to vest in the governing bodies of certain counties additional powers and duties as to constructing, reconstructing, extending, altering, maintaining and repairing sewer systems, or sidewalks, and parts thereof; to authorize such governing bodies to levy certain taxes and assessments, and to provide for certain exemptions therefrom, for the construction, reconstruction, extension, alteration, maintenance and repair of sewer systems, or sidewalks, and parts thereof, to provide for the recordation and collection of the same and the handling and disposition of revenues derived therefrom; and for such purposes to vest in such governing bodies certain powers of eminent domain.
AN ACT to provide for the installation in the circuit court clerk's office of each county a book to be provided by the Department of Highways and known as “State Highway Plat Book’, provide for the clerk’s fee for filing highway plats therein iad not to mention the numbers of the State Highway Plat Book and page wherein such plats are filed; and validating plats heretofore filed.

AN ACT to authorize the governing bodies of certain counties to provide that certain charges and taxes shall be a lien on property served thereby and to provide for the enforcement thereof.
