An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new section designated section 2704-a, relating to place of residence of certain county officers.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1 of an act entitled an act to authorize the board of supervisors of counties having a density of population of more than five hundred per square mile according to the last United States census, to divide the area of said counties into one or more districts and in such districts to regulate the use of land and of buildings or other structures, and the height thereof, and also to establish building lines and to regulate and restrict the construction and location of buildings and other structures in said counties; to authorize such boards of supervisors to adopt all necessary regulations for carrying into effect the purposes of this act; to provide for zoning commissioners and boards of zoning appeals in such counties, their powers and duties; to provide for appeals from such zoning commissioners and boards of appeal and the effect thereof; to authorize such boards of supervisors to appoint administrative officers; to prescribe the powers and duties of such administrative officers; to provide for the enforcement of this act and to prescribe penalties for the violation thereof, approved April 11, 1927, as amended by an act approved March 24, 1930, extending said act to cover every county of the Commonwealth adjoining a city having a population of 170,000 or more, as shown by the last United States census, so as to further extend said act to include every county having a population of over 25,000 inhabitants and which adjoins two cities, both of which are located in this State and have an aggregate population of not less than 165,000 nor more than 185,000 inhabitants.
An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to permit the filing and trials of certain cross-claims in certain cases for torts, approved March 24, 1926, as amended by an act approved March 17, 1928.

An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 1698-a, 1698-b, 1698-c, 1698-d and 1698-e of the Code of Virginia, relating to the sale of hypnotic drugs.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 5791 of chapter 236, of the Code of Virginia, as amended, relating to the liability of intrastate common carriers by railroads operated by steam for injury to, or death of, employees.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 4426 and 4427 of the Code of Virginia, and to further amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new section numbered 4426-a, said sections relating to fights between men and fights between men and animals and amateur boxing matches and exhibitions.

An ACT to make it unlawful to intentionally remove, deface, alter, change, destroy or obliterate, or cause to be removed, defaced, altered, changed, destroyed or obliterated, any identification mark on any article or device; to prescribe penalties; and to repeal chapter 298 of the Acts of Assembly of 1926, approved March 24, 1926.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sectiom 332 of the Code of Virginia, relating to appointment of officers by the governor.
An ACT to amend an act entitled an act to create a State commission on conservation and development; to prescribe its powers and duties; to vest it with powers and duties now vested by law in the water power and development commission, the State geological commission, the State geological survey, the office of the State geologist, and the office of the State forester; and to vest it with power to condemn and acquire land and other property for public park purposes, approved March 17, 1926, as amended by an act approved March 26, 1928, by adding thereto a new section to be numbered 14-a, transferring to the said commission supervision and control of the State museum.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto six new sections, numbered 2684-a to 2684-f, both inclusive, in relation to authorizing two or more adjoining counties to consolidate, and prescribing the requirements and procedure to be followed.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 1, 2 and 12 of an act entitled, an act declaring the control of the Commonwealth over the waters of the State and providing for the development of the water power resources in this State, and in furtherance thereof and incident thereto, among other things, defining the waters of the State, conferring on public service corporations engaged in the development of water power in this State certain powers of eminent domain, providing for the exercise of such control by the State through the agency of the State corporation commission and regulating the construction of dams and other structures included in such development, approved March 24, 1928; and authorizing the granting or refusal by the corporation commission of Virginia of application for licenses to construct or reconstruct dams across rivers and streams in this State, whether waters of the State or not and whether the applicant is or is not required by law to procure such license and prohibiting the utilization of any dam constructed or reconstructed without license after July 1, 1932, for the purpose of generating hydro-electric energy in public service unless or until licensed or permitted so to do by the State corporation commission
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 229 of the Code of Virginia, as heretofore amended, in relation to declarations of candidacy in primary elections.

An ACT validating certain outstanding school indebtedness of the town of Phoebus, Virginia, and authorizing said town to borrow money and issue bonds for the purpose of refunding such indebtedness and to require the council of said town annually to levy taxes to create a sinking fund to redeem the principal thereof at maturity.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new section, numbered 2096-b relating to authorizing the State prison board to enter into agreements with counties, towns, and State departments to construct and maintain roads and streets and to do other public work, and for such purposes establishing and providing for supervision, regulation, and maintenance of convict camps; and appropriating money for such purposes.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 6 of an act entitled “an act to prevent unfairness, imposition or fraud in the sale or disposition of certain “securities” herein defined by requiring an inspection thereof, providing for such inspection, supervision and regulation of the business of any person, association, partnership, or corporation, engaged or intending to engage, whether as principal, broker or agent, in the sale of any such securities in the State of Virginia as may be necessary to prevent unfairness, imposition or fraud in the sale or disposition of said securities, and prescribing penalties for the violation thereof,” approved March 23, 1918, as heretofore amended.

An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 1 and 2 of an act entitled 'An act to abolish all school districts in the counties of Roanoke, Pittsyl-vania and Pulaski, and establish each such county as the unit for all school purposes except representation; to prescribe the composition of the county school boards of said counties; to transfer to, and vest in the county school boards all property acquired, and in any way held, for the use of special town school districts in said counties; to require the county school boards to assume, and provide for the payment of all bonds and other valid obligations of all school districts; to prohibit the issuing of any bonds or creating of any other form of indebtedness as a charge against any school district; to prohibit district levies for any school purpose; to provide for county levies for all necessary school purposes, including capital expenditures and the payment of indebtedness; to provide for transferring to the county school boards all balances of school funds in the hands of, or standing to the credit of school districts and/or special or separate, town district school boards; to repeal all acts and parts of acts in conflict with any of the provisions of this act, and to provide for approval of this act by the school boards and boards of supervisors of said counties before the same shall become effective,' approved March 31, 1932, so as to bring the county of Fairfax, within the terms of this act, to continue the town of Herndon as a separate school district for representation only, and to continue the town of Falls Church, as a separate school district and to exclude the same from the terms of this act.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2073 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, and to further amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto two new sections numbered 2073-a and 2073-b, all pertaining to the State convict road force, the employment of convicts and misdemeanants, and the purchase of articles produced and manufactured thereby.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 5827 of the Code of Virginia, as heretofore amended, relating to limitation of enforcement of deeds of trusts, mortgages and liens to secure payment of unpaid purchase money.
