AN ACT to amend and reenact § 1-13 of the Code of 1950 relating to rules of construction by reenacting it in 35 sections as follows: 1-13 through 1-13.34 so as to make certain verbal changes and to add a rule of construction.
An Act to amend and reenact § 15-130 of the Code of 1950 relating to notice to be given in annexation proceedings; to provide that service shall be on each member of the board of supervisors instead of on the board as a body.

AN ACT to amend the Code of 1950 by adding in Chap 6 of Title 42 a new Article numbered 6 containing two sections numbered 42-66 and 42-67, relating to permits to erect historical markers and penalties for violations; and to repeal Chap 10 of Title 10 of the Code of 1950, containing §§ 10-133 and 10-134, relating to the same matters.
AN ACT to amend and reenact § 51-98 of the Code of 1950, so as to provide that certain State employees under certain circumstances may continue in work despite certain disqualifying factors.

AN ACT to provide for the appointment of general registrars in certain counties.
AN ACT to amend and reenact § 3, as amended, § 18, and § 14, as amended, of Chapter 145 of the Acts of Assembly of 1887-8, which incorporated the town of Rocky Mount, and which sections related to administration, taxes, and powers of the mayor; and to add to such chapter a section numbered 3-a, providing under certain conditions for the adoption of the town manager form of government in such town.
AN ACT to authorize the governing bodies of counties, cities and towns to establish, construct, improve, enlarge, maintain and operate sewage disposal systems, to borrow money and issue bonds therefor, to collect fees, rents and charges for the use thereof and to confer certain powers and duties upon such governing bodies.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 168 of the Acts of Assembly of 1874-75, approved March 11, 1875, as amended, which provided a charter for the city of Petersburg, by adding a section numbered 2-c in Chapter IV relating to fixing salaries of certain officers of the city.
AN ACT to validate all proceedings in the creation of any sanitary district in the State and all proceedings in connection with bond issues of such sanitary districts, and to make the bonds binding, legal, valid, and enforceable obligations of the sanitary district issuing the same.
AN ACT to amend and reenact § 56-834 of the Code of 1950, relating to the enforcement of laws governing operation of motor vehicle carriers.

AN ACT to amend the Code of Virginia 1950 by adding five new sections numbered 54-280.1 to 54-280-5, both inclusive, providing temporary licenses for certain chiropractors and naturopaths, creating a Special Board to give examinations on certain subjects to holders of temporary licenses, and prescribing how such chiropractors and naturopaths may obtain permanent licenses.

AN ACT to amend the Code of 1950 by adding a section numbered 24-194.2 providing for the appointment of additional judges and clerks of election for voting places in certain counties and cities ; and to repeal § 24-194.1 of the Code of 1950 and § 148-a of the Code of 1919, which was added to such Code by Chapter 276 of the Acts of Assembly of 1948, approved March 16, 1948, and incorporated by reference in the Code of 1950 by § 24-194.1 of that Code.
