1920
An ACT to amend section 3 of an act approved March 3, 1892, entitled an act making an annual appropriation to the Confederate Soldiers’ Home, and in consideration therefor accepting a conveyance from R. E. Lee Camp No. 1, Confederate Veterans, of the property owned by it and now used for said home, so as to extend the time when the possession and control of the property conveyed in the deed from R. E. Lee Camp No. 1, Confederate Veterans, to the Commonwealth of Virginia, dated March 24, 1892, shall pass from the grantor to the grantee in said deed; and to further extend the time when the possession and control of said property shall pass from the grantor to the grantee in said deed.
An ACT to authorize and empower the board of supervisors of the county of Dickenson, Virginia, to lay a special county levy to raise money for the purpose of providing for the construction of a county memorial, industrial and high school building, to be built in the town of Clintwood in Dickenson county, Virginia, and providing for the securing of land upon which to erect said building, and to erect and equip said building, and to authorize and empower the said board of supervisors of said county to lay a special district levy in the Clintwood magisterial district in said county to raise money for the purpose of supplementing said special county levy, and also to authorize and empower the town council of the said town of Clintwood to lay a special town levy in the said town to raise money for the purpose of also supplementing said special county levy.

An ACT to continue in force the War Memorial Commission, created by, and duly appointed pursuant to, an act approved March 20, 1924, for the erection of a memorial to the patriotism and valor of the soldiers, sailors, marines, and women from Virginia who served in the World War, committing the Commonwealth of Virginia to the carillon and directing the commission to do certain things and to provide that said memorial shall be of the form of a carillon, or singing tower; to ratify all action of said commission heretofore taken, except the selection by said commission of the character or design of said memorial; to provide for the payment of all legal obligations heretofore incurred by said commission, and to repeal so much of said act of March 20, 1924, as is in conflict or inconsistent with this act
An ACT to provide, with certain conditions and restrictions, a site on a portion of the land in the western section of the city of Richmond known as the Soldiers’ Home property, for the establishment and conduct thereon by the Home for Needy Confederate Women, a corporation existing under the laws of Virginia, of a home for the needy widows, wives, sisters and daughters of Confederate soldiers, sailors and marines, such home to be a memorial to the women of the Southern Confederacy.
An ACT to permit the Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the United Daughters of the Confederacy to place in one of the vacant niches in the rotunda of the capitol, a suitable bust of Robert Edward Lee.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 24 and 26 of an act entitled an act to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to establish the State highway system, approved January 31, 1918, and to establish a perpetual memorial to Robert Edward Lee, approved March 20, 1922.

An ACT to authorize the execution of an oil painting of Samuel H. Newberry, of Bland county; Peyton G. Hale, of Grayson county; A. M. Lybrook, of Patrick county, and B. F. Williams, of Nottoway county (known as the “big four’), and John E. Massey and to have the same placed in the State Capitol.
An ACT to empower the State library board to make such disposition as it may see fit, involving surrender of title, of a portrait labelled as that of Robert Brooke, governor of Virginia, now hanging in the governor's mansion, some disposition thereof being called for on the petition of Dr. T. V. Brooke, of Pittsylvania county, and his sisters.
An ACT to continue the war memorial commission created by an act approved March 20, 1924, and continued by an act approved March 24, 1926; to provide for the erection of a memorial in the form of a carillon to the patriotism and valor of the soldiers, sailors, marines and women from Virginia who served in the world war; and to appropriate moneys to carry out the provisions of this act.

An ACT to allow the council of the town of Hillsville, county of Carroll, to remove the Confederate monument off the State highway route number 15 (now United States route number 121) in said town to the courthouse yard, at the expense of the said town.
An ACT to amend and re-enact chapter 295 of the acts of assembly of 1928, entitled an act to authorize the boards of supervisors of the counties of Gloucester, Mathews and King William to appropriate funds for the purpose of contributing towards placing markers upon the graves of Confederate soldiers buried in such counties.
An ACT prohibiting the posting or erection of historic markers, monuments, signs, or notices, on public property or on public roads, unless and until a certificate of approval of the terms of the legend, inscription or notice thereon, shall have been issued by the division of archaeology and history of the State commission on conservation and development.

An ACT to approve and accept a deed of gift dated February 25, 1932, of the estate known as “Gunston Hall,’ formerly owned by George Mason, the author of the Virginia declaration of rights, to the Commonwealth of Virginia from Louis Hertle, subject to a life estate reserved unto the grantor, said estate to be managed and supervised according to the terms and conditions therein set forth.
An ACT to authorize the governor under certain conditions to receive gifts of busts or other memorials of certain great Virginians to be placed in the old hall of the house of delegates in the capitol, in such a manner as not to interfere with the utility of said hall as a place of meeting.

An ACT to authorize the State Commission on Conservation and Development to transfer and convey to the United States of America any and all right, title and interest which the said commission and the Commonwealth of Virginia has in and to lands known as and constituting Richmond Battlefield Parks, and to repeal chapter 285 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1934, and all acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act.

An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Roanoke county, the council of the city of Roanoke, the council of the town of Salem in Roanoke county, and the council of the town of Vinton in Roanoke county to severally appropriate sums not in excess of $5,000.00 for each such political sub-division, to be used for the purpose of commemorating the hundredth anniversary of the establishment of Roanoke county.
