An ACT to make uniform the law relating to partnerships.
An ACT to regulate the business of making small loans, by requiring persons charging directly or indirectly a greater rate of compensation than the conventional legal interest rate per annum on loans not exceeding three hundred ($300) dollars, to any person, to obtain a license; by prescribing the maximum amount of compensation which licensees may charge; by regulating assignments to licensees of salaries or wages earned, or to be earned; by prohibiting false or deceptive advertising concerning such loans; by fixing penalties for violation of certain provisions of this act; by prescribing certain duties of the chief examiner of banking division of the corporation commission in respect to licensees; repealing section 81 of the revenue act and all other acts and parts of acts inconsistent with the provisions of this act.
An ACT to amend and reenact sections 21, 22, 59, 65, 72, 73 and 121 of an act to provide a new charter for the city of Bristol, as amended and to repeal all acts and parts of acts in conflict therewith, approved March 14, 1908, and to add a new and independent section 125-a thereto.
A RESOLUTION proposing amendment to section 184 of the Constitution of Virginia.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Augusta county to issue time warrants to carry the present floating debt of Augusta county and to levy a tax to pay the interest upon said debt, and to establish a sinking fund to pay off said debt.

An ACT to amend section 5189 of the Code of Virginia
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 7 of an act entitled an act to create the State convict road force; to authorize the working of certain prisoners on the public roads of this State; providing for the guarding, transportation, lodging, feeding, clothing and medical attention of the State convict road force; providing for an increase of the penitentiary guard not to exceed forty-five men, providing how a county may have the benefit of the labor of the State convict road force, and appropriating money from the public treasury to carry the provisions of this act into effect, approved March 6, 1906, as amended.

An ACT to authorize and empower the town council of the town of Farmville, Virginia, to negotiate a loan for the purpose of paying off and discharging the floating debt of said town, caused by urgent and needful repairs to the streets and public utilties owned by the town, said debt being incurred by war times and extraordinary high cost of labor and materials; to issue bonds for said loan to provide for payment of interest and principal thereof and to provide a sinking fund.
An ACT to authorize, empower and direct the board of supervisors of the county of Norfolk to borrow money, by the issuance of bonds, a sum not to exceed one hundred and forty-five thousand dollars for the purpose of paying off and discharging certain debts of said county caused by a deficit in the road and bridge funds of said county, on account of war time extraordinary expenses; to sell said bonds; to provide for their payment, and to authorize the board of supervisors of said county to dispense the funds so obtained.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 6474 of the Code of Virginia.
An ACT authorizing the district school board of Sussex Court House school district, in Sussex county, to borrow money for the purpose of paying the existing indebtedness of said board; and to require the board of supervisors to levy a tax to pay the interest thereon, and to create a sinking fund to redeem the principal thereof at maturity.

An ACT to authorize the district road board of Scott magisterial district, Fauquier county, Virginia, to pay off and discharge certain certificates of indebtedness issued by it August 22, 1916, in order to borrow money to resurface and otherwise improve the macadam road in said district, from The Plains to Middleburg.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 1, 2, 9 and 11 of chapter 359 of the acts of 1920, entitled “An act to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to prevent unfairness, imposition or fraud in the sale or disposition of certain securities herein defined by requiring an inspection and regulation of the business of any person, association, partnership, or corporation, engaged or intending to engage, whether as principal, broker, or agent, in the sale of any such securities in the State of Virginia as may be necessary to prevent unfairness, imposition or fraud in the sale or disposition of said securities, and prescribing penalties for the violation thereof, approved March 28, 1918.”
An ACT to amend and re-enact an act of the general assembly of Virginia, approved March 27, 1922, entitled "An act to regulate the confession of judgments in the office of the clerk of any court of record in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and to prescribe the procedure thereon; and to repeal an act of the general assembly of Virginia approved March 23rd, 1922, entitled "An act requiring every power of attorney to confess judgment, to be signed and acknowledged before some officer authorized to take acknowledgments to deeds."
An ACT authorizing the county school board of Nansemond county to borrow money for the purpose of paying the existing indebtedness cf said board; and to provide funds to carry out the school building program and to require the board of supervisors to levy a tax to pay the interest thereon, and to create a sinking fund to re- deem the principal thereof at maturity.
An ACT authorizing the county school board of Chesterfield county to borrow money, not in excess of $30,000.00, and to issue its bonds therefor, for the purpose of erecting and equipping school buildings in Midlothian school district; and requiring the board of supervisors of said county annually to levy a tax to pay the interest thereon, and to create a sinking fund to redeem the principal thereof at maturity.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of the county of Louisa to borrow money and issue bonds for a sum not exceeding two hundred thousand dollars, and to use the proceeds of such bond issue to pay off the indebtedness of the said county incurred in pursuance of an act approved March 16, 1920, which act is printed as chapter 213 of the acts of assembly of 1920.

An ACT to give preference to claims of the Commonwealth of Virginia and her political subdivisions for taxes, levies and fees, together with penal- ties and interest thereon.
An ACT to prohibit the false certification of a check and to require the amount of any check certified to be forthwith charged against the account of the drawer, and providing a penalty for the violation thereof.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3102 of the Code of Virginia as amended by an act approved March 27, 1922.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 6035 of the Code of Virginia
An ACT to amend and re-enact subsection first of section 8 of an act entitled an act to raise revenue for the support of the government and public free schools, and to pay the interest on the public debt, and to provide a special tax for pensions, as authorized by section 189 of the Constitution, approved April 16, 1903, as heretofore amended.

An ACT declaring it a misdemeanor for any maker or drawer with intent to defraud, to make or draw or utter or deliver any check, draft, or order, when such person has not sufficient funds in, or credit with the depository upon which the same is drawn, and making certain provisions in relation to the admissibility of evidence in civil cases respecting collateral agreements, statements or representations as to said draft, check or order, growing out of arrest under this act.

An ACT to require the approval of the qualified voters of the county of Washington on certain local questions; to prohibit the board of supervisors of the said county from appropriating the county levy for certain purposes; to require the division superintendent of schools and members of the board of supervisors of the said county to be bonded, and to make them liable on their official bonds in certain cases; and to limit the rates of levy in the said county; also, to authorize and direct the county school board of Washington county to borrow a sum not in excess of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars and to issue its notes therefor, the proceeds to be used to pay the existing school indebtedness of the school districts of the county and to replace funds expended during the present year for indebtedness incurred during the last preceding year or years; and providing for the levy and collection of a tax for the payment of the interest thereon and the principal thereof at maturity.
An ACT to validate notes or certificates of indebtedness or any renewals thereof of the town of Cape Charles aggregating one hundred and eighty-nine thousand, forty-four dollars and fifty-six cents ($189,044.56), and providing for the payment thereof.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section (c) of an act entitled an act to regulate the confession of judgments in the office of the clerk of any court of record in the Commonwealth of Virginia and to prescribe the procedure thereon

AN ACT to amend and re-enact section 5186 of the Code of Virginia, which section is in chapter 210 of the said Code on acts which are valid between the parties, but void as to creditors and purchasers.

An ACT to validate certain judgments rendered upon pleadings which failed to contain certain allegations as to the assessment for taxation, of the bonds, notes and other evidences of debt sued on; and to protect the title to lands sold under deeds of trust, where the holder of the notes secured by the deed of trust, had not listed same for taxation.
An ACT declaring it larceny for any maker or drawer, with intent to defraud, to make or draw or utter or deliver any check, draft, or order, when such person has not sufficient funds in, or credit with the depository upon which the same is drawn; prescribing penalties for the violation thereof; and making certain provisions in relation to the admissibility of evidence in civil cases respecting collateral agreements, statements or representations as to said draft, check or order, growing out of arrest under this act, to repeal an act entitled an act to make it larceny to obtain, with fraudulent intent money or other property or credit by means of a check, draft or order, and to make a failure to have on deposit, or to the credit of the maker or drawer thereof with the bank, person, firm or corporation on which such check, draft or order is drawn, sufficient funds to pay the same in full when presented prima facie evidence of fraudulent intent, approved March twentieth, nineteen hundred and twenty, and an act entitled an act declaring it a misdemeanor for any maker or drawer, with intent to defraud, to make or draw or utter or deliver any check, draft, or order, when such person has not sufficient funds in, or credit with the depository upon which the same is drawn, and making certain provisions in relation to the admissibility of evidence in civil cases respecting collateral agreements, statements, or representations as to draft, check or order, growing out of arrest under this act, approved March twenty-fourth, nineteen hundred and twenty-six.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3876 of the Code of Virginia.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 329 of the Code of Virginia of 1887, as amended, relating to the collection of fines imposed by court martial, the same having been omitted from the official Code of 1919, but continued in force by the provisions of section 2673 thereof.
