An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to anticipate by counties or otherwise the construction of the State highway system
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Wise county to issue bonds or other obligations of said county on behalf of Gladeville magisterial district thereof for a sum not exceeding $50,000, for the purpose of providing funds to be loaned the State highway commission of Virginia, to be used in the construction of that section of road in the State highway system extending 1.6 miles westwardly from the town of Norton in said district; and to levy taxes to pay the interest thereon, and to create a sinking fund for the payment of the principal thereof at maturity; and to authorize the State highway commission of Virginia to borrow said funds to finance the work aforesaid and to repay the same to said board of supervisors as funds are available
An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to authorize the board of supervisors of the county of Carroll to let the contract of the roads of said county, and levy a tax to keep the same in said repair, as amended by an act approved February 29, 1892, and February 2, 1894, and acts amendatory thereto, respectively January 22, 1898, March 7, 1900, as amended by an act approved March 14, 1906, and as amended by an act approved March 15, 1910, and further amended by an act approved March 24, 1920, and further amended by an act approved March 24, 1922, and the purchase road machinery, implements, tools, and so-forth, pay of supervisors, clerk and duties of each, prescribing penalties and so-forth, and to repeal all special acts in conflict herewith.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Culpeper county to borrow not over $30,000.00 on behalf of Jefferson magisterial district therein and to issue bonds of the county therefor, any sum so borrowed to be advanced to the State for the construction of a highway from Albee to Warrenton in said county, if such highway be included in the State highway system.

An ACT to authorize and provide for a voluntary inspection service for agricultural products; to constitute certificates issued under this act or under authority of the Congress of the United States prima facie evidence in courts of this Commonwealth; and to repeal section 1471 of the Code of Virginia, as amended by an act approved March 15, 1920.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Wise county to issue bonds, or other obligations of said county, on behalf of Lipps magisterial district thereof, for the purpose of financing the construction of certain sections of the State highway system in the said district; to levy taxes to pay the interest thereon, and to create a sinking fund for the payment of the principal of said bonds at maturity; and to authorize the State highway commission of Virginia to borrow said funds, without interest, from the board of supervisors of Wise county, to finance the said work, and to repay the same to said board of supervisors as the funds therefor are available and are apportioned.

An ACT to authorize the county school board of Warwick county to borrow money, not in excess of $25,000.00, and to issue its bonds therefor, for the purpose of cancelling an outstanding indebtedness incurred in erecting and equipping the Morrison high school building with an addition thereto in Newport school district; and requiring the board of supervisors of said county to levy an annual tax to pay the interest thereon and to create a sinking fund to redeem the principal thereof at maturity.

An ACT to appropriate $145.00 to reimburse Charles Cortlandt Walton, Jr., for expenditures made and bills incurred by him in the organization and recruiting of the Ninth Company, Virginia Coast Artillery, between the time its organization was authorized by the State and its muster into Federal service, August 4, 1917.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 6 of chapter 392 of the Acts of Assembly of 1924, known as the centralized purchasing law.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 4122 of the Code of Virginia, as heretofore amended by an act approved March 25, 1920, regarding fees for examination of banks.

An ACT to require the approval of the qualified voters of the county of Washington on certain local questions; to prohibit the board of supervisors of the said county from appropriating the county levy for certain purposes; to require the division superintendent of schools and members of the board of supervisors of the said county to be bonded, and to make them liable on their official bonds in certain cases; and to limit the rates of levy in the said county; also, to authorize and direct the county school board of Washington county to borrow a sum not in excess of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars and to issue its notes therefor, the proceeds to be used to pay the existing school indebtedness of the school districts of the county and to replace funds expended during the present year for indebtedness incurred during the last preceding year or years; and providing for the levy and collection of a tax for the payment of the interest thereon and the principal thereof at maturity.
An ACT to provide for the appointment of an advisory committee to the board of supervisors of the county of Greensville and to prescribe the powers, duties, and compensation of the members of such advisory committee.

An ACT authorizing the board of supervisors of the county of Greene to borrow money, not in excess of $25,000.00, and to issue its bonds therefor, for the purpose of repairing the present courthouse or building a new one for the said county; and requiring the said board annually to levy a poll on other tax to pay the interest thereon, and to create a sinking fund to redeem the principal thereof at maturity.
An ACT to repeal an act of the general assembly of Virginia approved March 24, 1922, creating the Hampton Roads port commission, and to abolish the said commission; to create a State port authority of Virginia as an agency of the State, provide for the appointment of its members and for their compensation, and to define its powers and duties; to define the area of the port of Hampton Roads; to permit the council or other governing body of certain cities and towns within the State to appoint boards of municipal dock commissioners; to define and limit their powers; to regulate the construction, alteration, etc., of wharves, piers, etcetera, within the port area; to regulate dredging within the port area; to exempt the property and income of the port authority from taxation; to revoke all laws in conflict with this act; and to provide funds for carrying into effect the provisions of the act.
An ACT to amend and re-enact subsection 2 of section 5 of an act approved March 27, 1918, entitled an act to amend and re-enact an act approved March 3, 1898, entitled an act to prescribe the mode in which clerks of courts shall keep a record of all taxes and other public moneys collected by them, and to require them to pay the same into the treasury, as amended by an act approved March 27, 1914; and to require the clerk in connection therewith, to keep a record of fees received.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 of an act entitled an act to provide for the working of the roads of the county of Louisa
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 58 of an act entitled an act to incorporate the city of Newport News, in the county of Warwick, and to provide a charter therefor, as amended and re-enacted by an act approved March 24, 1920, by adding thereto subsection “k”, regulating the management of its waterworks.
An ACT concerning taxation; to segregate for the purposes of taxation, the several kinds or classes of property, so as to specify and determine upon what subjects State taxes, and upon what subjects local taxes, may be levied; to amend and re-enact sections 2205, 2206, 2207 and 2212 of the Code of Virginia; to amend and re-enact sections 8, 9, 10, 11, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 28, 2914, 31, 33, 35, 36 and 36% of the tax bill, as heretofore amended; to repeal section 2209 of the Code of Virginia; to repeal an act entitled an act to raise revenue for the support of the government and to appropriate money for the construction of roads and projects comprised in “the State highway system,” and to provide for an additional fund for the maintenance of public free schools of primary and grammar grades, from the first to the seventh, inclusive, and to provide for the prevention and eradication of tuberculosis among the people of this State, and to extend the work of the State board of health, approved March 16, 1918; to repeal an act entitled an act to raise additional revenue for the support of the government, approved March 23, 1918; to repeal an act entitled an act to raise revenue for the support of the government and to appropriate money for the construction of roads and projects comprised in the “State highway system,” approved September 5, 1919; to repeal sections 2 and 7 of the tax bill, in relation to real estate and tangible personal property; to repeal an act entitled an act to regulate the situs of taxation of bank stock, approved March 16, 1918; to raise revenue for the support of the government and to provide a minimum fixed appropriation of State revenue for public free school purposes and to provide penalties for violations of this act.
An ACT to authorize, empower and direct the board of supervisors of the county of Princess Anne to borrow money by the issue of bonds for the purpose of purchasing, building and improving roads and bridges in Pungo magisterial district in said county.
An ACT to appropriate $7,672.06 to the War Memorial Commission
An ACT to amend chapter 448 of the acts of assembly of 1920 in relation to a bond issue for roads in the county of Carroll, by adding thereto a new section to be numbered 7-a.
An Act Authorizing the Board of Supervisors of Lee County to Borrow Money and Issue Bonds for Road and Bridge Construction in Rocky Station Magisterial District
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 of the special road law of Wythe county, approved March 23, 1920, so as to allow the board of supervisors to contract with the several members of said board to inspect certain road and bridge maintenance and construction and to compensate them therefor.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new section to be numbered section 2430-a, in relation to the compensation of treasurers of cities who do not handle local revenues, for receiving and paying over State revenues, such local revenues being handled in such cities by city collectors in pursuance of the charters of such cities.
An ACT to enable the county school board of Hanover county to request the board of supervisors of said county to lay district school levies in the several magisterial districts for the purpose of providing funds for the erection and equipment of school buildings; to enable said school board to permit such funds to accumulate from year to year; and to enable said county school board with the school board of the town of Ashland, to establish and maintain in said town, or in Ashland district, in the vicinity of said town, a public high school for the children of said town and district.
An ACT to create a commission of roads and bridges for the county of Princess Anne, Virginia, for Pungo magisterial district, and to prescribe the powers and duties of such commission and to provide to controlling construction, and keeping in repair public roads and bridges within said magisterial district of said county and for acquiring, establishing, altering and vacating roads and bridges therein.
An ACT providing for the restoration to its former condition, as far as possible, of that portion of the capitol building formerly constituting the hall of the house of delegates and for the removal of the exhibits therein, and authorizing the placing of tablets and paintings therein, and appropriating the sum of five hundred dollars for the removal of said exhibits.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 4 and 19 of an act entitled an act to provide a charter and special form of government for the city of Hampton
An ACT to authorize the county school board of Southampton county to borrow not to exceed twenty-four thousand five hundred dollars; and to issue its bonds therefor for the purpose of paying a like amount of outstanding bonds of Jerusalem school district in said county and to provide for the payment of the interest thereon and the principal thereof at maturity.
An ACT to repeal section 3 of an act entitled an act to regulate the duties of the board of supervisors of Scott county, Virginia, and directing them to publish amount of funds received and expended by them and fixing a penalty for their failure to do so, approved March 7, 1924.
An ACT to create a commission of roads and bridges of the county of Princess Anne, Virginia, for Seaboard magisterial district, and to prescribe the powers and duties of such commission, and to provide for controlling constructing and keeping in repair the public roads and bridges within said magisterial district of said county, and for acquiring, establishing, altering and vacating roads and bridges therein, and for obtaining and applying any and all State aid now and hereafter available for said purpose.
An ACT to require the approval of the qualified voters of Dickenson county on certain local questions; to prohibit the board of supervisors of the said county from appropriating the county levy for certain purposes; to limit the rates of levy in the said county; and to invest the court or judge with certain authority.
