An ACT to amend and re-enact section 7 of an act entitled an act to provide for the issuance of county bonds for constructing and operating water supply systems in the magisterial districts of certain counties of the State; to provide for the payment of the interest thereon and the principal thereof at maturity, and to provide for the construction and operation of such water supply systems
An ACT to authorize the city of Fredericksburg, Virginia, to borrow a sum of money not to exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) and issue bonds therefor, to cover the cost of addition to the high school building in said city.
An ACT to provide for the assessment and taxation of stocks and bonds and other evidences of debt in anywise held or owned by railway and canal companies chartered under the laws of Virginia for 1928 and succeeding years; and to provide when such companies shall not be assessed with stocks, bonds and other evidences of debt omitted from assessment for the year 1927 and preceding years.

An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new section, numbered 3090-a, authorizing the council of any city or town in the State of Virginia to issue bonds for the purpose of funding, refunding and retiring existing bonds and other obligations.
An ACT to authorize certain counties and/or cities, in this State, to establish a mosquito control district, or districts; to provide for a governing body or commission, its appointment and duties: for the creation, operation, and management of such district, or districts; and to provide for the issuance of bonds, and a sinking fund, and for financing the same, and to authorize the levy of a tax for carrying on the work of said commission and to appropriate funds therefor; and to repeal chapter 419 of the acts of the general assembly of Virginia, session of 1928, which was issued March 23, 1928, relating to the establishment of mosquito control districts.
An ACT to authorize the town of Orange to issue bonds in the amount of $200,000.00 to refund all outstanding bonds heretofore issued for the purpose of providing a revenue producing water system in said town, not exceeding the sum of $50,000.00, and providing $150,000.00 to be used for providing sewerage and enlarging the revenue producing water system of said town.
An ACT to provide for the issuance of bonds by the county school boards of the counties of this State, for the purpose of funding or refunding bonds issued by any county, or by or on behalf of any school district for school purposes in such county, or school district.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 3079 and 3081-A of the Code of Virginia, relating to the issuance of bonds by cities and towns.
An ACT to authorize the town of Cape Charles to borrow $20,000.00 and issue bonds therefor for the purpose of refunding outstanding school bonds.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 9 of chapter 448 of the acts of 1920, entitled an act to authorize, empower and direct the board of supervisors of the county of Carroll to borrow money by the issuance of bonds for a sum not to exceed $300,000.00 for the purpose of the building and permanent improvement of the roads and bridges in said county; prescribing how such bonds may be issued and disposed of; to create a county road board for the county of Carroll and to prescribe its powers and duties; also to provide how the funds realized from the sale of said bonds shall be disposed of, and to repeal section 6 thereof so as to abolish the county road board for Carroll county created by section 6 of said chapter 448 of the acts of 1920, and to transfer the duties imposed by said act to the board of supervisors of Carroll county.
An ACT to authorize the council of the town of South Boston to issue bonds of the town of South Boston in an amount not exceeding one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00), and to provide the levy of a tax to pay interest on said bonds, and to retire the same as they mature.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Madison county to issue bonds of Madison county to refund outstanding bonds of said county, issued on behalf of said county, and to authorize the levy of a tax for the payment of the principal and interest on said bonds when issued.
An ACT to legalize and validate certain outstanding bonds of the city council of Alexandria.
An ACT to authorize and empower the city of Suffolk to acquire by purchase, the lot and building owned by Washington Square Realty Corporation, and situated on the corner of west Washington street and south Saratoga street, in said city; to use a portion of the lot for widening and improving west Washington street; to remodel and improve the residue of said property, and to own, hold and use, rent, lease or sell the same or any part thereof; and to borrow money for said purposes and issue and sell bonds therefor.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto ten new sections, numbered 3074-a to 3074-i, both inclusive, authorizing and empowering cities and incorporated towns in this Commonwealth to acquire by lease, purchase or condemnation proceedings any land within, or (with the consent of the local authorities where such land is situated) without the limits of said cities or towns for the purpose of establishing and maintaining municipal airports or aviation landing fields, and to establish, construct, improve, equip, maintain and operate said airports or landing fields, and to provide for the procedure in cases of condemnation and the extent of title acquired; authorizing the lease by the said cities or incorporated towns of the whole or portions thereof to individuals or corporations and the operation of the same, or any part thereof, on such terms and subject to such conditions as may be provided by the local legislative body of said city or incorporated town, and the lease thereof to the government of the United States upon nominal or other rental, or without consideration for aviation, mail delivery or other aviation purposes.
An ACT to authorize the council of the city of South Norfolk to borrow money not in excess of $200,000.00, and to issue its bonds therefor for the purpose of funding and refunding certain school bonds becoming due in the year 1930, outstanding notes or certificates of indebtedness, and to pay off the floating indebtedness of the said city, and to provide for the levy of a tax to pay interest on said bonds and to retire the same as they mature.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia of 1919, by adding thereto a new section, to be numbered thirty-eight hundred and twenty-a, which new section relates to the sale, conveyance and transfer by corporations, with certain exceptions, of the whole of their property, including good will, to any person, or corporation authorized to acquire the same.
An ACT to authorize the city of Newport News to issue bonds to the maximum amount of $150,000.00 to be used for the construction of a sanitary sewer or the erection of a sewage disposal plant near Salters creek, and to authorize a tax sufficient to pay the interest thereon and create a sinking fund for their redemption.

An ACT to provide for the creation of sanitary districts in the counties of this State; to prescribe the powers and duties of the boards of supervisors of such counties as to the acquisition, construction, maintenance and operation of water supply, sewerage, heat, light, power and gas systems in such districts; to provide for the issuance of bonds to raise funds for establishing of such public utilities in such districts, and to provide for the maintenance thereof, and for the payment of such bonds.
An ACT validating certain outstanding school indebtedness of the town of Phoebus, Virginia, and authorizing said town to borrow money and issue bonds for the purpose of refunding such indebtedness and to require the council of said town annually to levy taxes to create a sinking fund to redeem the principal thereof at maturity.
An ACT for the protection of banks depositing securities with the chairman of the State highway commission or the State highway commission to secure money deposited in banks by division engineers of the department of highways going into their custody under the provisions of subsection (1) of section 10 of chapter 79 of the Acts of 1928, and for the return of securities so deposited.

An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 1 and 8 of an act entitled "an act to authorize the issuance of bonds by county school boards of counties in the State of Virginia for the purpose of funding or refunding any of the current indebtedness of such counties incurred for school purposes and for the purpose of constructing school buildings or additions thereof," approved March 24, 1930, so as to include existing obligations incurred for school purposes.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 5772 of the Code of Virginia, as amended by an act approved February 12, 1932, relating to how securities on bonds of State depositories relieved; duty of treasurer.
An ACT to clarify and define the powers of the council of the city of Martinsville, in relation to the issuance of funding, or refunding bonds of said city generally, and particularly as to the issuance of its long term bonds for the purpose of funding, refunding or redeeming certain short term obligations for which said city is liable, for indebtedness incurred by the town of Martinsville prior to June nineteenth, nineteen hundred and twenty-eight.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 7 of chapter 8 of an act entitled an act to incorporate the city of Danville, approved February 17, 1890, as heretofore amended, relating to issuance of bonds.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia, by adding thereto a new section to be numbered section 5216-d, relating to the recordation of orders approving the bonds of trustees in bankruptcy.
An ACT to amend chapter 73 of the Code of Virginia by adding a new section thereto, to be designated as section 1777-a, authorizing the issuance of refunding bonds by drainage districts under certain circumstances; providing for the sale or other disposition of such bonds and the application of the proceeds thereof; for the assessment of levies for the payment of such bonds, and the adjustment of such levies and of levies made for the payment of any bonds of any such district which may not be so refunded; authorizing any such drainage district to enter into contracts and agreements with the United States government or any subdivision or agency thereof, for the purpose of securing aid in the matter of refunding outstanding bonds of such district; and to repeal all acts and parts of acts in conflict herewith.

An ACT to amend the charter of the city of Charlottesville, approved March 24, 1922, as amended by an act approved March 21, 1928, by amending and re-enacting sections 23 and 24.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new section, numbered 6457-a, providing that bonds, notes and other evidences of indebtedness secured by deeds of trust, mortgages, or other liens, shall have no priority, one over the other, by priority of assignment or otherwise, unless the instrument creating the lien so provides.

An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 2, 3, 4 and 5 of an act entitled an act to prevent unfairness, imposition or fraud in the sale or disposition of certain securities herein defined by requiring an inspection thereof, providing for such inspection, supervision and regulation of the business of any person, association, partnership, or corporation, engaged, or intending to engage, whether as principal, broker or agent, in the sale of any such securities in the State of Virginia as may be necessary to prevent unfairness, imposition or fraud in the sale or disposition of said securities, and prescribing penalties for the violation thereof, approved March 23, 1918, as heretofore amended.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1259 of the Code of Virginia, as heretofore amended, relating to bonds of commission merchants.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections twenty hundred and forty-nine and twenty hundred and fifty of the Code of Virginia, relating to the regulation, operation, management and lease of the ferries across the Elizabeth river and the branches thereof, and providing for the issuance of bonds therefor.
An ACT to authorize the county school board of any county to issue bonds for the purpose of funding, or refunding, and retiring outstanding district school bonds.
An ACT authorizing the city of Bristol during the calendar years of 1934 and 1935 to issue short term obligations and to pledge therewith as collateral bonds maturing during said years.
An ACT validating certain sales heretofore made under deeds of trust to secure debts or indemnify sureties.
An ACT to repeal sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 of an act entitled an act to provide for the construction, reconstruction, improvement and maintenance of the public roads and bridges in Giles county, other than such as are included in the State highway system, and to provide for the issuing of county bonds for the construction, reconstruction and permanent improvement of the roads and bridges, embraced in the county highway system, approved February 10, 1920, and any and all amendments of said sections or any of them, and to provide when the repeal of the various sections shall become effective.
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors or other governing body of any county which alone constitutes a judicial circuit, to issue new bonds for the purpose of refunding and/or funding certain outstanding county and district bonds of such county, in which the full faith and credit of the county is pledged for the payment thereof, and to exchange such new bonds for bonds to be so retired.
