An ACT to provide a new charter for the town of Chincoteague, Accomack County, Virginia; to repeal all acts, or parts of acts in conflict therewith; and to validate all contracts heretofore or hereafter made by the present council and government while in office not inconsistent with this charter or the Constitution and general laws of this State; and to repeal all former charters of the town of Chincoteague.
An ACT to provide a new charter for the Town of Kenbridge, in the County of Lunenburg, and to repeal all acts or parts of acts in conflict therewith.
An ACT to appropriate money for the construction of a building in the Town of Big Stone Gap, in Wise county, in which to house a collection of museum pieces which Honorable C. Bascom Slemp has offered to donate to the Commonwealth of Virginia; to provide that said appropriation shall not become available unless and until certain conditions are complied with; and to accept the offer of the said C. Bascom Slemp in the event of such appropriation being made available.

An ACT to amend and re-enact Section 4676 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, relating to keeping gaming tables, et cetera, and for forfeiture thereof, to provide that the court may award certain tables and other paraphernalia to charitable organizations or war recreation centers.

An ACT providing for the acquisition, construction, enlargement, improvement, operation and maintenance of camping and recreational facilities, defined herein, in State parks now or hereafter under the control and supervision of the Virginia Conservation Commission; conferring powers and imposing duties upon the Virginia Conservation Commission; authorizing the issuance by such Commission of revenue bonds of the State, payable solely from earnings of such facilities, to pay the cost of acquiring, constructing, enlarging, or improving such facilities; providing that no debt of the State shall be incurred in the exercise of any of the powers granted by this act; providing for the collection of fees and charges for the payment of such bonds and for the payment of the cost of maintaining, repairing and operating such facilities; making such revenue bonds exempt from taxation and authorizing the issuance of revenue refunding bonds.
An ACT to amend and re-enact Sections 3, as amended, 3-a and 6 of Chapter 161 of the Acts of Assembly of 1926, approved March 17, 1926, relating to the powers and duties of the governing bodies of certain counties with respect to sanitary districts, and the manner of holding elections in such districts.
An ACT to amend Chapter 94 of the Acts of Assembly of 1934, approved March 7, 1934, short title of which is “The Alcoholic Beverage Control Act”, as amended, by adding a new section numbered 18-d to permit any person holding a wholesale wine distributor's license to sell wines containing more than fourteen per centum of alcohol by volume for sacramental purposes.

An ACT to provide for the development, use and maintenance of a war memorial in the county of Arlington, Virginia, and to that end to authorize and empower the county of Arlington, Virginia, and the school board of such county to contract with each other and with certain associations in relation to a stadium and an athletic field or other recreational facilities as a memorial; to prescribe the rights, powers, duties, and obligations of the parties to, and under, such contract; to authorize contributions and donations to be made to, and accepted for, such memorial and to prescribe how same shall be disposed of; and to authorize the county to provide for the use of such memorial.
An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding new Sections 3775-c, 3775-d, 3775-f, 3775-i and 3775-j, relating to use of aircraft for hunting; reckless operation of aircraft; tampering with aeronautical facilities; operation of unlicensed aircraft; and operation of aircraft by unlicensed persons, respectively; and to provide penalties for violations.

Proposing Amendments to § 141 of the Constitution of Virginia
AN ACT to amend and reenact §§ 11 and 31 of Chapter 289 of the Acts of Assembly of 1934, approved March 27, 1934, so as to broaden the powers of the Council of the City of Staunton respecting real estate, and the board of health and department of public welfare, to restrict the requirement that ordinances be published, to empower the Council to levy certain taxes, and to make permissive a certain provision as to public ways.
AN ACT to amend and reenact § 59-214 of the Code of 1950, relating to the manufacture, transportation, storage, sale, use and ignition of fireworks.
An Act to permit deer killed or injured by motor vehicles to be kept by the operators of such motor vehicles; to prescribe the circumstances under which such deer may be kept and to repeal certain acts and regulations.
An Act to amend and reenact §§ 1 and 4 of Chapter 177 of the Acts of Assembly of 1942, approved March 11, 1942, and continued in effect by § 15-705 of the Code of 1950, so as to enlarge the class of counties affected.
