An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of the county of Albemarle to grant aid to a woman’s co-ordinate college of the university of Virginia.
An ACT to authorize Albemarle county, from time to time, as necessary, to borrow money and issue bonds for a sum not exceeding $40,000, for the purpose of uniting in the building, in the county of Albemarle, of State money aid or convict labor plan roads, as well as roads where private individuals contribute one-half the cost thereof, and to assist in securing undergrade crossings under the tracks of the Chesapeake and Ohio railway company and the Southern railway company, respectively, in the county of Albemarle.

An ACT to amend and re-enact an act approved March 4, 1896, entitled an act providing for the working, opening and keeping in repair the roads of the county of Lunenburg, and for building and keeping in repair the bridges of said county, except that an amendment to said act known as section 14-a, providing for submitting to the qualified voters of the several magisterial districts in Lunenburg county the question as to the issuance of bonds by such magisterial district for the construction and repair of public roads in said magisterial district, which said amendment was approved March 12, 1912, is not to be affected hereby.

An ACT to authorize the mayor and council of the city of Williamsburg, in the county of James City, State of Virginia, to issue bonds and borrow money for the purpose of establishing, installing, and maintaining a system of water works, a sewerage system, and electric light and power system in said city of Williamsburg, and to provide for submission of the question to the voters of said city, and to provide for the payment of such bonds and the interest to accrue thereon, and to authorize the board of directors of the Eastern State hospital to contract with the mayor and council of said city of Williamsburg for the sale and purchase of water, and connection with the water and sewerage systems of said Eastern State hospital, and to authorize the board of visitors of the College of William and Mary in Virginia to contract with the mayor and council of said city for the sale and purchase of electric current for light and power, and for connection with the electric plant and system of the said the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
An ACT to amend and re-enact an act of the general assembly of Virginia, approved February 10, 1915, entitled an act to empower the council of the town of Brookneal, in the county of Campbell, to issue and sell bonds for the purpose of building, repairing and maintaining Streets, sidewalks and water mains, provided that the question of such bond issue for the purposes named be first submitted to the qualified voters of said town, and to authorize such council to call a special election for the submission of the same to the voters thereof.

An Act to amend and re-enact section 7 of an act entitled an act to provide for the issuing of county bonds for permanent road or bridge improvement in the magisterial districts of the counties of the State.

An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to provide for working and keeping in repair the public roads and bridges of the county of Washington, and to authorize the board of supervisors to borrow money by the issue of bonds, and to build bridges und to macadamize roads in said county, etc. and to authorize the board of supervisors of said county to open by condemnation or otherwise alter, discontinue, work, and Keep in order and repair the public roads and bridges of said county, approved March 7, 1900, and all acts amendatory thereof.
An ACT to validate, ratify, approve and confirm certain bonds
An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to authorize and empower the board of supervisors of the county of Brunswick to issue bonds of the said county to an amount not exceeding $57,000.00 in exchange for and to raise funds to pay off the outstanding bonds of said county, issued by it in payment of its subscription to the capital stock of the Atlantic and Danville Railway Company, approved January 30, 1914; to ratify the action of the said board of supervisors to the extent that it has issued bonds of the county pursuant to said act; to authorize the said board of supervisors to issue coupon bonds, or registered bonds as provided in said act, in exchange for and to raise funds to pay off the balance of the outstanding bonds of said county issued by it in payment of its subscription to the capital stock of the said Atlantic and Danville Railway Company ; and to authorize the said board of supervisors, in its discretion, to issue coupon bonds authorized by this act in exchange for the registered bonds of the said county heretofore issued pursuant to said act approved

An Act to repeal section 24 of an act entitled an act to amend and re-enact an act approved March 7, 1906, entitled an act to amend and re-enact an act approved April 2, 1902, entitled an act to provide a road law for Campbell county, approved March 5, 1900, providing and regulating a road board for said county and directing the disbursement of the county road fund, approved February 8, 1908, as heretofore amended, and adding thereto a new section 24 in lieu of the section hereby repealed.

An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Stafford county to issue bonds to raise the funds necessary to pay off certain bonds issued in 1886, known as Falmouth Bridge bonds.
An ACT to provide for a special election in the town of Franklin upon the question of issuing bonds for the purpose of improving the streets of the said town; to allow the council of the said town to issue said bonds, if the same shall be authorized by a majority of the qualified voters thereof at such special election, and by a majority of the registered voters of said town, and to levy and collect taxes sufficient to pay the interest thereon, and to create a sinking fund for the redemption of the said bonds upon their maturity.
An ACT authorizing the common council of the city of Winchester, Virginia, to borrow the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) and issue the bonds of the city of Winchester therefor.
An ACT to authorize the town council of the town of Gladeville, in Wise county, to issue bonds to liquidate and pay off the indebtedness of said town.

An Act to Authorize the Road Construction Board of Plymouth Magisterial District, Lunenburg County, to Expend Unexpended Balance from Sale of Bonds for Permanent Road Improvement
An ACT to provide for improving the public roads and bridges of Estilville magisterial district in the county of Scott, to authorize the board of supervisors to borrow money by the issue of bonds, and to build bridges and to macadamize roads in said district.
An ACT to prevent unfairness, imposition or fraud in the issuance, sale, promotion, negotiation, or distribution of any stocks, bonds, notes or other securities or contracts, and to provide penalties for violation thereof and to authorize the State corporation commission to make investigations in connection with the sale of such securities or contracts.

An ACT to amend an act entitled an act to incorporate the town of Cedar Bluff, in Tazewell county, Virginia, approved January 27, 1912, to authorize the town council of said town to issue bonds of said town not exceeding $6,000.00 for permanent improvement of streets and sidewalks in said town.
An ACT to authorize and empower the local road board of Salem magisterial district, in Culpeper county, Virginia, to issue bonds to raise money for the purpose of providing for the building and completion of certain roads in said magisterial district, in said county.
An ACT to authorize the school board uf Claremont school district, No. 4, of the county of Surry, Virginia, to borrow money and to issue bonds for the purpose of erecting and furnishing one or more school houses, and to purchase sites therefor, and to provide for the payment of such bonds and the interest to accrue thereon.
An ACT to provide for the payment of road bonds of the county of Orange for Barbour district, of said county, by use of road funds of said district and by levy.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1, of chapter VIII of the charter of the city of Danville, Virginia, relating to temporary loans, the borrowing of money, the limit of outstanding indebtedness, the issuing of certain bonds in serial form to be made payable in annual installments, to the right of the city council to create debts and to the maintenance of a sinking fund for certain bonds of said city; as amended and re-enacted by an act approved February 19, 1900, as amended and re-enacted by an act approved February 1, 1901, as amended and re-enacted by an act approved March 8, 1902, as amended and re-enacted by an act approved December 12, 1908, as amended and re-enacted by an act approved on the 5th day of February, 1916.
An ACT to authorize and empower the council of the town of Chilhowie, in the county of Smyth, to borrow money and issue bonds for equipment of the fire department, and for the construction and improvement of water and sewerage systems of the said town.

An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Wise county to invest, use and apply any part of the sinking fund created and set apart for the purpose of redeeming the principal of the $700,000 issue of thirty-year Wise county road bonds
An ACT to provide for the issuing of county bonds for permanent road and bridge improvement in Lexington magisterial district, in Rockbridge county, Virginia, in accordance with an act of the general assembly of Virginia, approved March 13, 1912, entitled an act to provide for the issuing of county bonds for permanent road or bridge improvement of the magisterial districts of the counties of the State; to further provide that the order of the issuing of bonds in the Lexington magisterial district of Rockbridge county shall be issued by the circuit court of said county upon the petition of twenty-five freeholders of the Lexington magisterial district outside of the corporate limits of the town of Lexington.
