AN ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
8-666.1, so as to regulate transportation of animal carcasses by certain
persons and to prescribe penalties for violation, and to repeal § 38-295
of the Code of Virginia, relating to the same matters. 3 1

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
3-666.1 as follows:

§ 3-666.1. If any person engaged in the regular business of using or
disposing of or rendering dead animals shall transport any dead animal,
other than those killed for human consumption, along a public road or
street without the same being fully covered, he shall be fined not less
than five dollars nor more than one hundred dollars.

2. § 33-295 of the Code of Virginia is hereby repealed.
