An ACT for the relief of Jacob J. Hager, of Bland county.
An ACT for the relief of W. A. Donald, a Confederate soldier, of Rockbridge county.
An ACT to authorize the town of Scottsville to contribute towards the erection of a bridge across James river at or near said town, and to negotiate a loan and issue its bonds for that purpose.
An ACT to authorize the Atlantic coast line railroad company of Virginia to change its name, and to increase the number of its directors and officers: to authorize said company to increase its capital stock, and to issue bonds and secure the same by one or more mortgages, and to authorize the leasing by it and the consolidation therewith of other corporations; and otherwise to enlarge its powers.
An ACT to authorize the council of the town of Salem, of Roanoke county, Virginia, to issue new bonds of said town sufficient to retire the bonds issued under the power given it by its charter, known as improvement bonds of the town of Salem.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 18 and sub-sections 6, 7, and 9 of section 19, and section 25 of the act approved May 24, 1870, providing a charter for the city of Richmond, and the several acts of the general assembly amendatory thereof, concerning the powers of the city council, and relating to actions against the city to recover damages from it for negligence in the construction or maintenance of its streets, alleys or parks, where any person is liable with the city for such negligence.
An ACT to authorize the councils of the city of Norfolk to issue bonds from time to time, not exceeding a total of $75,000 of principal, predicated upon the assessed valuation of the property of Brambleton ward.
An ACT to amend sections 13, 17, and 18 of the charter of the town of Suffolk.

An ACT to incorporate the Tidewater and West Virginia railroad company.
An ACT confirming the action of the city council of Alexandria, Virginia, authorizing the use of certain of its streets by the southern railway company and other railroad companies for the tracks, switches, and turnouts of said companies, and confirming to certain firms, individuals, and corporations rights with respect to the same, as herein particularly set forth.
An ACT to establish a dispensary for the sale of intoxicating liquors in Franklin magisterial district, Southampton county, Virginia, to prohibit all persons, firms, corporations to sell, barter, or exchange such liquors in said district, and to repeal all laws in conflict with this act, so far as they apply to the said magisterial district.
An ACT to provide for the issuing of bonds by Montgomery county to macadamize the road from Christiansburg to Blacksburg.
