An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto in Title 18 thereof a new chapter numbered 4.1 containing § 18-39.1, relating to reorganization of certain corporations, so as to provide a manner in which a plan of reorganization may be effected; to provide for amendments to charters and by-laws of such corporations; to provide for filing and recordation of certain certificates; to limit the time within which such chapter shall be applicable; and to provide for payment of certain fees.

An Act to amend and reenact §§ 6-10, 6-20, 6-146, 6-152, 6-164, 6-204, 6-206, 6-286, 6-242, 6-250 and 6-251 of the Code of Virginia, relating to the incorporation of banks, building and loan associations, credit unions and industrial loan associations, the merger and consolidation of banks and the conversion of such corporations, dissolution thereof and deposit requirements in order to conform the provisions of such sections as presently existing to proposed revisions of the Code of Virginia relating to the law of corporations, and to repeal § 6-12.1 of the Code of Virginia, relating to the amendment of bank charters to abolish cumulative voting.

An Act to validate the creation of the Blacksburg-Virginia Polytechnic Institute Sanitation Authority as a public body politic and corporate and the appointment of its members, and to prescribe their terms of office; to provide for the appointment of their successors; to authorize the town of Blacksburg and the Board of Visitors of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute to contract with said authority for sewage treatment and to authorize said Board of Visitors to fix fees, rents and charges with respect to sewage treatment under any such contract; and to provide that any such fees, rents and charges be applied to meet obligations assumed under such contracts.
