An ACT to empower and instruct the board of sinking fund commissioners to sell the state’s interest in the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac railroad company and to invest the proceeds of sale in century bonds, and to repeal the act approved March 19, 1873 entitled an act directing the board of public works to sell the state’s interest in the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac railroad company.
An ACT to legalize the issue of certain bonds of the city of Roanoke
An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Roanoke county, the councils of Roanoke city and of the town of Salem to adjust and determine the amounts which said county, city, and town shall respectively assume and pay on account of any liability arising from any subscription which may have been or may be made or authorized by the county of Roanoke to the capital stock of the Valley railroad company, and to provide for the payment of the same.
An ACT to regulate and control guaranty, trust, indemnity, fidelity and other like companies having for their purpose or one of their purposes to become security for the faithful performance of any trust, duty, contract, agreement or bond, public or private, official or otherwise, or to assume any duty or obligation of like nature as principal or otherwise, or to become fiduciary.
