An ACT to repeal an act entitled “an act to create a board of excise commissioners for Alexandria county,” approved March 2, 1894, and an act entitled “an act to amend and re-enact section 5 of an act to create a board of excise commissioners for Alexandria county,” approved March 2, 1896.

An ACT to amend and re-enact an act approved December 18, 1899, entitled: An act to regulate the sale of cider and other intoxicants in Palmyra village, Fluvanna county, Virginia, so as to change the limit from one to three miles.
An ACT to submit to the qualified voters of Bedford City, in the county of Bedford, at a special election to be held therefor, the question of the establishment of a dispensary for the sale of intoxicating liquors in the town of Bedford City, and in the event of a majority of those voting at said election for said dispensary, then further to provide for the establishment and conduct of the same, and to prohibit thereafter, within said town, or within one mile of its limits, the sale, barter, or exchange of intoxicating liquors by all persons, firms or corporations, except as provided herein, and to provide for a second election to be held after two years from the date of the first election.
An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 19 and 74, of an act entitled an act to provide a charter for the city of Manchester, approved March 20, 1874, as amended by an act approved February 27, 1878, and as further amended by an act approved March 3, 1900.
An ACT to provide for submitting the question of the sale of liquor by a dispensary in the town of Pulaski, Virginia, to the qualified voters of said town, and to prohibit any other election to be held in said town upon the question of the sale of liquor therein, in any manner, within two years after any election is held under this act.
An ACT to provide for submitting the question of the sale of liquor by a dispensary in the town of Abingdon Virginia, to the qualified voters of said town, and to prohibit any other election to be held in said town upon the question of the sale of liquor therein, in any manner, within two years after any election is held under this act.

An ACT to define and regulate the sale, distribution, rectifying, manufacture and distilling of intoxicating liquors and malt beverages, and to impose license taxes thereon, and to prohibit the drinking of ardent spirits on railroad trains, and to repeal sections 141 and 142 of an act entitled an act to amend and re-enact sections 75 to 147, inclusive, of an act approved April 16, 1903, entitled an act to raise revenue for the support of the government and public free schools, and to pay the interest on the public debt, and to provide a special tax for pensions as authorized by section 189 of the Constitution, approved February 19, 1904, and to prescribe penalties.
An ACT to provide for an election by the qualified voters of Franklin magisterial district, of Southampton county, Virginia, to determine whether or not intoxicating liquors shall be sold in any manner within the bounds of said district, and if the result of said election is against the sale of liquor, to abolish the dispensary in said district, or if the result be in favor of the sale of liquor, to preserve the present law therein.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 of an act entitled an act to establish a dispensary for the sale of intoxicating liquors in Jerusalem magisterial district, Southampton county, Virginia, to prohibit all persons, firms or corporations, except manufacturers of apple and peach brandy, within said district to sell, barter or exchange such liquors in said district, and to repeal all laws in conflict with this act, so far as they apply to the said district, approved February 15, 1901, and to amend and re-enact section 11, of an act entitled: An act to amend and re-enact section 11 of an act entitled: An act to establish a dispensary for the sale of intoxicating liquors in Jerusalem magisterial district, Southampton county, Virginia, to prohibit all persons, firms or corporations, except manufacturers of apple and peach brandy, within said district to sell, barter or exchange such liquors in said district, and to repeal all laws in conflict with this act, so far as they apply to the said district, approved February 15, 1901, as amended and re-enacted by an act approved May 15, 1903, and as amended and re-enacted by an act approved March 17, 1906.

An ACT to amend and re-enact sections 2, 3 .4. 5, 7. 8. 10, 11, and 12 of an act entitled: An act to incorporate the town of Fairfax, in the county of Fairfax, approved February 16, 1892, and to add thereto sections 13, 14. 15 and 16.

An ACT to provide for an election by the qualified voters of Waverly magisterial district, of Sussex county, Virginia, to determine whether or not intoxicating liquors shall be sold in any manner within the bounds of said district, and if the result of said election is against the sale of liquor, to abolish the dispensary in said district, or if the result be in favor of the sale of liquor, to preserve the present law therein. And to provide for biennial elections in said district on said questions.

An ACT to repeal certain acts in relation to the establishment of a dispensary in the town of Pulaski, Pulaki county, Virginia.
An ACT to amend an act entitled an act to incorporate the town of Basic City, approved December 19, 1891.
An ACT to authorize any licensed incorporated country clubs, chartered and organized as social clubs, to keep on hand at such clubhouse of such club ardent spirits, and to sell, give or dispense the same to the members of such corporation or club, and their bona fide guests, imposing license taxes thereon, and to prescribe penalties.

An ACT to amend section six of an act entitled an act to provide a charter incorporating the town of Eastville, in Northampton county, approved February 6, 1896.
An ACT to authorize the judge of any court, police justice or justice of the peace in cities of forty thousand inhabitants and over to continue the case and admit to bail any person brought before him charged with being an habitual drunkard, with failing to support his wife or children, with being a vagrant or an idler able to work, and who is liable to become a charge upon the corporation, and to commit such person to the supervision of an officer to be known as a probation officer; to provide for the appointment and compensation of such probation officer, and to invest him with full police power while in the discharge of his duties.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 35 of an act approved April 2, 1902, entitled an act to provide a new charter for the town of Covington, in the county of Alleghany, and to repeal all other acts with reference thereto.

An ACT to amend and re-enact section 20 of an act of the general assembly of Virginia, approved March 14, 1906, entitled: “An act to amend and re-enact an act of the general assembly of Virginia, in force, January 21,1884, entitled ‘An act providing a charter for the city of Norfolk, and repealing the existing charter, approved April 21, 1882,’ as amended by the several acts of the general assembly of Virginia, approved, respectively, April 6, 1887, April 28, 1887, May 14, 1887, February 14, 1900, February 21, 1900, February 26, 1900, February 2, 1901, February 15, 1901, March 15, 1902; and to define the boundaries of the said city of Norfolk, as extended by the several acts of the general assembly, approved April 6, 1887, February 22, 1890, and March 14, 1902, and by an order of the circuit court of Norfolk county, which was entered on the 9th day of January, 1906.”
An ACT to amend and re-enact an act approved February 7, 1835, providing a charter for the town of Bridgewater, as amended by an act approved March 3, 1884, and as amended by an act approved August 26, 1884, and as further amended by an act approved February 16, 1901, and all other acts heretofore passed amendatory of said charter.
An ACT to incorporate the town of Dillwyn, in Buckingham county, Virginia.

An ACT to prohibit the sale of cider and other drinks containing over one-half of one per centum alcohol within one mile of Elon Baptist church, in the town of Pamplin City, Appomattox county.
An ACT to establish a dispensary for the sale of intoxicating liquors in the town of Ridgeway, in the county of Henry, Virginia, and to prohibit the sale, barter or exchange of such liquors in said town, except as provided by this act

An ACT to regulate the sale of cider other than cider which is the pure juice of the apple, and mixtures, preparations and liquids containing alcohol in excess of one per cent. by volume, when sold to be used as a beverage, and to prescribe penalties.
An ACT to prohibit the use of the name, photograph or likeness of any deceased officer of the Confederate army or navy as the name, brand, trademark or trade name for any intoxicating liquor or beverage, and providing penalty for violation.

An ACT to amend and reenact an act entitled an act establishing several towns, approved December 14, 1796, as amended by an act entitled an act concerning the town of New Market, in the county of Shenandoah, approved January 13, 1806, as amended by an act entitled an act appointing trustees for the town of New Market, in the county of Shenandoah, and prescribing their powers and duties, approved on the 16th day of March, 1840, as amended by an act to amend an act entitled an act enlarging the town of New Market, in the county of Shenandoah, approved March 28, 1871, as amended by an act entitled an act to incorporate the town of New Market, in the county of Shenandoah, approved December 25, 1872, as amended by an act entitled an act to enlarge the corporate limits of the town of New Market, in the county of Shenandoah, Virginia, approved January 31, 1890, as amended by an act entitled an act to amend an act entitled an act to incorporate the town of New Market, in the county of Shenandoah, approved December 25, 1872, in relation to procuring council’s certificates to sell beer, wine, liquor, ardent spirits, or any mixture thereof, approved February 19, 1892; and to provide a new charter for said town of New Market.
An ACT to prohibit the manufacture of cider in Loudoun county, Virginia, within 1 mile of a public high school building, by the owner of a cider mill, for other than himself.
An ACT to provide for the calling and hoiding of an election upon the question of prohibiting the manufecture for sale and the sale of intoxicating liquors, to prescribe for qualification of voters in said election, to declare the effect of the result of such election, and to pro- vide penalties for the violation of the provisions of this act.
An Act to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to regulate the hours of labor in factories and manufacturing establishments where females and children under fourteen years of age are employed as operatives, approved March 4, 1890, as amended by an act approved March 14, 1912, so as to embrace mercantile establishments on Saturdays, and laundries, and adding an independent section thereto prohibiting the employment of males under twenty-one years of age, and females in places where intoxicating liquors are manufactured, bought, sold, packed, or shipped.
An ACT to prohibit the sale of cider, and other drinks containing over one-half of 1 per cent. alcohol within 1 mile of the public school building, in the village of Capron, Southampton county, Virginia.

An ACT to prohibit chauffeurs, motormen, engineers and other persons from driving or running automobiles, cars, trucks, engines, trains, or other vehicles while under the influence of intoxicants.
An ACT to provide for the removal of persons holding any office of trust or profit under and by virtue of any of the laws of the State of Virginia, either State, county or municipal, except such officers as are by the Constitution removable only and exclusively by methods other than those provided by this act, who shall knowingly or wilfully misconduct himself in office, or who shall knowingly or wilfully neglect to perform any duty enjoined upon such officer by any law of the State of Virginia, or who shall in any public place be in a state of intoxication produced by ardent spirits voluntarily taken, or who shall engage in any form of gambling or who shall commit any act constituting a violation of any penal statute involving moral turpitude; and providing a procedure therefor; and for the appearance of the commissioner of prohibition, or some one representing his office, in certain cases arising hereunder.
An ACT to provide for submitting to the qualified voters of counties and cities the question of interstate and intrastate shipment of ardent spirits for beverage purposes, and prohibiting the transportation, bringing into or receiving of ardent spirits for beverage purposes in any such county or city as shall by majority vote under this act declare against interstate and intrastate shipment of ardent spirits for beverage purposes; and prescribing penalties therefor.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 36 of an act approved April 2, 1902, entitled an act to provide a new charter for the town of Covington, in the county of Alleghany, and to repeal all other acts with reference thereto.
An ACT to amend and re-enact section 7 of chapter 8 of an act entitled an act to provide a charter for the city of Petersburg
An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act prohibiting the manufacture and sale of certain intoxicating liquors in certain counties of the Commonwealth
An ACT to define ardent spirits and to prohibit the manufacture, use, sale, offering for sale, transportation for sale, keeping for sale, and giving away of ardent spirits as herein defined, except as provided herein; to prohibit advertisement of such ardent spirits; to prescribe the jurisdiction for trial and appeals of cases arising under this act; to prescribe the force and effect of certain evidence and prosecutions for violation of this act; to create the office of commissioner of prohibition and to define his duties and powers and compensation; defining intoxication and who is a person of intemperate habits within the meaning of this act; prescribing certain rules of evidence in certain prosecutions under this act; exempting certain counties and cities from certain provisions of this act and authorizing additional restrictions and limitations beyond the provisions of this act as to the sale, manufacture or delivery of ardent spirits in certain counties and cities; to provide for the enforcement of this act and to prescribe penalties for the violation of this act; to appropriate out of the treasury of the State necessary moneys for the enforcement of this act; and to repeal all acts or parts of acts in conflict with this act.
An ACT to prohibit the sale of any cider whatever or of any other drink, containing more than one-half of one per centum of alcohol, within the corporate limits of the town of Amherst, Virginia, or at any point within two miles of the corporate limits of said town.
An ACT to provide for the granting of license for the manufacture and sale of ardent spirits for the period beginning May 1, 1916, and ending October 31, 1916, and prescribing the amount to be paid therefor.
An ACT to prohibit the sale of any cider or of any other drink containing more than one-half of one per cent. of alcohol, within two miles of Seay’s chapel, a church located near Shores, in Fluvanna county.
An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to incorporate the town of Chase City, in the county of Mecklenburg
An ACT to repeal an act to establish a dispensary for the sale of intoxicating liquors in Farmville magisterial district in Prince Edward county, Virginia, approved February 138, 1901; also to repeal an act for the establishment of a dispensary for the sale of intoxicating liquors in Leigh magisterial district, at Meherrin, Prince Edward county, Virginia, approved December 12, 1903; and also to repeal an act providing a conditional repeal of the said acts for the establishment of the said dispensaries, approved March 24, 1914, and to provide that no license shall be hereafter granted in the county of Prince Edward.

An ACT to provide that it shall not be lawful for druggists in the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth and the county of Norfolk to purchase, store or sell ardent spirits, except wine for sacramental purposes and pure fruit and grain alcohol for medicinal, scientific, mechanical or pharmaceutical purposes.
