CHAPTER 98

An Act to require that certain State agencies report concerning the blind
to the Division of Motor Vehicles. CH 192]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Every State agency having knowledge of the blind or nearly
blind, maintaining any register of the blind, or administering either tax
deductions or exemptions for or aid to the blind or nearly blind shall
report in the first month of each year to the Division of Motor Vehicles
the names of all persons so known, registered or benefitting from such
deductions for exemptions, for aid to the blind or nearly blind. Such
information received shall be used by the Division of Motor Vehicles only
for the purpose of determining qualifications of such persons for the
operation of a motor vehicle.
