CHAPTER 798
An Act to amend and reenact § 2 of Chapter 416 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1982, relating to representation on certain county school boards.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 2 of Chapter 416 of the Acts of Assembly of 1932, be amended
and reenacted as follows:
§ 2. For the purpose of representation only, each magisterial dis-
trict and each incorporated town * lying entirely in a single magisterial
district in each of said counties shall constitute a school district, and the
county school board shall be composed of one member from each such
district in the county, to be appointed or elected as provided by law,
provided that the member from a magisterial district shall not be a
resident of any town which is, by this section, constituted a school district.
2. Anemergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
