An Act to amend and reenact § 2-4 of Chapter 47, Acts of Assembly of
1964, which provided a charter for the town of Warrenton, and to
further amend said chapter by adding in Article II, a section, num-
bered 2-7, the amended and new sections relating to borrowing power
of the town and vesting certain powers in the town. tH 7]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 2-4 of Chapter 47, Acts of Assembly of 1964 be amended and
reenacted, and that said chapter be further amended by adding in Article
II a section numbered 2-7, as follows:
§ 2-4. Borrowing Power. The town of Warrenton may incur
indebtedness by issuing its negotiable bonds and notes for the purposes
and in the manner provided in the Constitution and general laws of the
Commonwealth. *
§ 2-7. Adoption of certain provisions of Title 15.1, Code of Virginia.
The powers set forth in §§ 15.1-885 through 15.1-907 of Chapter 18 of
Title 15.1 of the Code of Virginia as in force on January 1, 1968, are
hereby conferred on and vested in the town of Warrenton.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
