An Act to amend and reenact § 22-95 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to territorial jurisdiction in cities, towns and counties constituting
a separate school district.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
ia That § 22-95 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:
§ 22-95. Territorial jurisdiction in cities and towns constituting a
separate school district.—The official care and authority of the school
board shall cover all territory included in the corporate limits of the city
or town constituting a separate school district, and also shall cover all
school property located without and contiguous to the corporate limits of
such city or town, when the title to such property is vested either in the
schoo! board of such city, as a body corporate, or in the city; provided,
however, that school property lying without the corporate limits of said
city but not adjacent thereto on 1 January 1968 shall be subject to the
official care and authority of the school board of such city or the said city.
