An Act to amend and reenact § 29-52, as amended, of the Code of
Virginia, relating to exemptions from requirement for licenses to
hunt, trap or fish and to licenses for persons seventy years of age
or older.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
l. That § 29-52, as amended, of the Code of Virginia be amended and
reenacted as follows:
§ 29-52. Exemptions from license requirements.—(1) License shall
10t be required of landowners, their husbands or wives and their children
ind minor grandchildren, resident or nonresident, to hunt, trap and fish
within the boundaries of their own lands and inland waters.
(2) License shall not be required of bona fide tenants, renters or
essees to hunt, trap or fish within the boundaries of the lands or waters
f which they are tenant, renter or lessee and on which they reside; pro-
rided such tenant, renter or lessee has the written consent of the landlord
ipon his person. and provided further that a guest of the owner of a
ale vid pond shall not be required to have a fishing license to fish in
uch pond.
(3) License shall not be required of resident persons under sixte
years old to trap or fish, nor of a resident person seventy years of age.
