Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding, in Title 58 thereof, a
section numbered 58-46.1 relating to copies of inheritance tax returns
to be furnished by the State Tax Commissioner.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding, in Title 58 thereof,
ction numbered 58-46.1 as follows:

§ 58-46.1. Notwithstanding the provisions of § 58-46, the State Tax
missioner shall, upon request, make available a copy of any inheritance
return to any person who is shown to the satisfaction of the State Tax
missioner, by affidavit or otherwise, to be a beneficiary, legatee, devisee
istributee, or who asserts a bona fide claim to be such, of the estate
1 which such return has been made; provided that a charge not exceed-
yne dollar per page may be made for each such copy.
