CHAPTER 540

An Act to amend and reenact § 54-414, as amended, of the Code of Virginia,
relating to the salary and per diem of the secretary-treasurer and
members of the Board of Pharmacy, respectively. :

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 54-414, as amended, of the Code of Virginia, be amended and
reenacted as follows:

§ 54-414. Compensation.—The salary of the secretary-treasurer shall
be fixed by the Board subject to the provisions of Chapter *10 (§ 2.1-110
et seq.) of Title 2.1. Each member of the Board shall be paid the sum of *
twenty-five dollars for every day he is actually engaged in its service, and
shall be reimbursed for such actual and legitimate expenses as he may incur
in going to and from the place of meeting and remaining thereat during
the sessions of the Board.
