CHAPTER 531
An Act to authorize The Board of Agriculture and Commerce, subject to
the approval of the Governor, to sell and convey certain real estate
owned by the Department of Agriculture and Commerce, and to pro-
vide for the application of the proceeds of such sale. S369)

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That The Board of Agriculture and Commerce be, and is hereby
authorized to sell, subject to the approval of the Governor, on such terms
and conditions as they shall see fit, and to convey by proper deed to the
purchaser thereof, the following described real estate:
All that certain lot of parcel of land with improvements, thereon,
privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise apper-
taining, situated near Crozet, in the County of Albemarle, Virginia, on
the Jarman’s Gap Road opposite an iron on the west margin of a 15 ft.
road—thence along said margin with John W. Quick 520 14 W 157 ft.
to an iron—thence used lines with R. H. Hurt in 66° 57’ W 126 ft. to an
iron N 28° 03’ E 119 ft. to center of Jarman’s Gap Road opposite an
iron—thence along the road 584° 48’ E 124 2/10 ft. to the beginning.
Being the same real estate conveyed to R. H. Hurt by J. W. Quick
and wife, by deed date, January 14, 1935, and recorded in the deed book
226, page 326, in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Albemarle
County, Virginia.
The sale of such property shall be in such an amount as may be
acceptable to The Board of Agriculture and Commerce and the Governor;
the terms of such sale shall be cash in hand paid upon delivery of a deed
of conveyance and the deed shall be approved as to form and substance
by the Attorney General.
The proceeds of the sale are hereby appropriated to The Board of
Agriculture and Commerce to be used solely for capital outlay purposes.
