An Act to amend and reenact § 1, as amended, of Chapter 101 of the Acts
of Assembly of 1950, relating to squirrel season in certain counties.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 1, as amended, of Chapter 101 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1950 be amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 1. Except as otherwise provided in this act, no person shall hunt,
capture, take or kill squirrels in the counties of Charles City, James City,
Lunenburg, New Kent, York, Prince George, Princess Anne, Powhatan,
Chesterfield, Henrico, Augusta, Southampton, King and Queen, * King
William, Hanover and Appomattox at any other season than that fixed
for the general hunting of upland game as same may be changed by law.
The right of certain persons to hunt squirrels on their own lands shall
not be affected hereby.
