An Act to amend and reenact § 33-287 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to shooting in or along road or in a street.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 33-287 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:
§ 33-287. Shooting in or along road or in a street.—If any person
shoot in or along any road, or within one hundred yards thereof, or in a
street of any city or town, whether the town be incorporated or not, he
shall, for each offense, be fined not less than five dollars.
The provisions of this section shall not apply to firing ranges or shoot-
ing matches maintained, and supervised or approved, by law enforcement
officers, or law enforcement officers and military personnel in performance
of their lawful duties.
