CHAPTER 345

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
58-466.1, relating to what taxes may be levied upon State banks.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
58-466.1, as follows:
§ 58-466.1. State banks and national banks treated the same in
matter of taxation.—In the event that any State or local tax is held by a
court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid in its application to national
banks, such tax shall not thereafter be assessed against State banks.
