CHAPTER 309
An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 29-
168.2, relating to penalties for taking wild turkeys during closed
season.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
29-163.2 as follows:
§ 29-163.2. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this chapter
to the contrary, any person who kills a wild turkey during the closed
season shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine of not less
than two hundred dollars and not more than five hundred dollars for each
turkey killed during closed season.
