CHAPTER 296
An Act authorizing the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries to
exchange for other land certain of its lands in Highland County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1, § 1. The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries is authorized,
subject to the approval of the Governor in writing first obtained, to
execute and deliver deeds in proper legal form approved by the Attorney
General and with special warranty of title transferring all its right,
title and interest in and to certain lands, involving approximately twenty
acres, in Highland County in exchange for other lands and rights therein,
then or at one time belonging to one H. L. Marshall, in Highland County,
all as shown by a plat of the several properties, showing the boundaries
to be as established, which plat shall also be approved by the Attorney
General before approving the deed, for the purpose of straightening and
correcting boundaries and to improve the public’s fishing opportunities.
