An Act for the relief of Wiliam W. Farmer.

Whereas, William W. Farmer has taught in the public schools of
this State for many years, beginning at the McGruder School in nineteen
hundred eighteen; and
ereas, in order to improve his value to his chosen vocation, he
left the schools to obtain his degree, but resumed teaching; and
Whereas, he has taught in recent years in Amelia County and in
Charles City County, but has been unable to become a member of the
Virginia Supplemental Retirement System; and
Whereas, William W. Farmer should have some method of relief in
return for the years he has devoted to the education of the youth of
this State; now, therefore
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. There is hereby appropriated from the general fund of the State
treasury the sum of five hundred dollars and the Comptroller is directed
to draw his warrant in that amount to William W. Farmer, provided that
contemporaneously with the delivery of the warrant, William W. Farmer
shall seine and deliver his full and complete release to the Common-
wealth.
