CHAPTER 259

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
58-1080.1 so as to provide how treasurer shall sell real estate for de-
linquent taxes under certain conditions. CH 686)

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
58-1030.1, as follows:

§ 58-1030.1. In the event that two or more persons bid the same
amount in a delinquent tax sale of real estate, the treasurer may require
such persons to cast lots between or among them as to who will be the
purchaser
