An Act to amend and reenact § 54-295, as amended, of the Code of
Virginia, relating to per diem of members of Board of Medical
Examiners.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 54-295, as amended, of the Code of Virginia be amended and
reenacted as follows:
§ 54-295. Compensation of members and secretary; expenses of
Board.—Each member of the Board, except the secretary shall receive *
twenty-five dollars for each day actually employed in the discharge of his
official duties, together with all necessary expenses incurred. The secretary
of the Board shall receive, in addition to necessary expenses, an annual
salary, to be fixed by the Board, with the approval of the Governor. The
compensation and expenses of the members and the necessary expenses of
the Board shall be paid out of the State treasury, on requisitions signed
by the president and secretary of the Board, and upon the warrants of the
Comptroller.
