CHAPTER 229

An Act to amend and reenact § 18.1-260 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to possession or use of machine guns in connection with crimes;
penalties.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 18.1-260 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:

18.1-260. Use of machine gun for aggressive purpose.—Unlaw-
ful possession or use of a machine gun for an offensive or aggressive
purpose is hereby declared to be a crime punishable by imprisonment in
the State penitentiary for a term of * from one to ten years.
