CHAPTER 217

An Act to amend and reenact § 54-98, as amended, of the Code of Virginia,
relating to compensation and expenses of members of the State Board

of Accountancy.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 54-98, as amended, of the Code of Virginia be amended and
reenacted as follows:

§ 54-98. Payment of compensation of members and other expenses.
—The members of the Board shall receive an amount not exceeding *
twenty-five dollars per day to each member, for the time actually spent
in the performance of their duties under this chapter, which as well as
their necessary traveling expenses and other expenses incident to award-
ing certificate, et cetera, shall be paid out of the State treasury, from
funds not otherwise appropriated, on warrants drawn by the Comptroller,
on certificates issued by the chairman of the Board.
