Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: ,
te That § 54-789 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as

ollows:

§ 54-789. How fees applied.—The fund realized from the fees afore-
said shall be applied by the Board to the payment of its expenses, making
a reasonable compensation to the president and secretary and to the pay-
ment to each member of the Board * twenty-five dollars per diem as com-
pensation for each day actually spent in the service of the Board.
