An Act to authorize the Governor to lease certain land to the city of
Virginia Beach.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Governor by deed in form approved by the Attorney
General, for and in consideration of a rental of ten dollars ($10.00) per
annum paid in advance on the first day of July of each year is hereby
authorized to lease to the city of Virginia Beach for a period of ninety-
nine years, a certain parcel of land at Little Island, in the said city,
formerly used by the United States as the Little Island Coast Guard
Station, and having reverted to the Commonwealth in accordance with
the terms of the original grant to the United States.
The said parcel contains approximately ten (10) acres, and is shown
on a plat entitled ‘Property of Sandbridge Gunning Club Located in
Princess Anne Co., Va. Scale 1”—500’ ” dated November 25, 1950, and
made by W. B. Gallup, county surveyor, said plat being recorded in the
office of the clerk of the Circuit Court of Virginia Beach, Virginia, in
Map ao nv at Page 70, the parcel being designated on said plat as
“U.S.C.G. No. 4.”
