An Act to authorize the Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia,
subject to the approval of the Governor, to convey certain real estate
to the George Mason College Foundation, Incorporated. 3 04

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia are au-
thorized, subject to the approval of the Governor, to convey to the George
Mason College Foundation, Incorporated, the following described real
estate, lying and being in Fairfax County, Virginia, and more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southerly right of way line of the prop-
erty of Southern Railway, said point of beginning being N 70° 14’ 19”
E 362.705 feet from the northeast corner of property now or formerly
Lynch, thence running with the said southerly right of way line of the
property of Southern Railway N 70° 14’ 19” E 362.705 feet to the north-
westerly corner of the property now or formerly Howell; thence depart-
ing from the southerly right of way line of the property of Southern Rail-
way and running with the westerly line of the now or formerly Howell
property S 11° 25’ 33” E 613 538 feet to a point in the northerly line
of State Route #495 (Capital Beltway), thence running with the said
northerly line of State Route #495 S 67° 33’ 00” W 154.18 feet and S
68° 16’ 14” W 279.01 feet to a point; thence departing from the northerly
line of State Route #495 and running through the property of Roy G.
Allman, et ux, N 5° 27’ 17” W 643.83 feet to the point of beginning, con-
taining 5.60251 acres of land;
G The deed shall be approved as to term and substance by the Attorney
eneral.
2. Anemergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
