CHAPTER 163

An Act to amend and reenact § 46.1-821 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to charges for the inspection of motor vehicles. CH 258)

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 46.1-321 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 46.1-321. Charge for inspection.—Each official inspection station
may make a charge of * two dollars for each such inspection, but the
imposition of such charge shall not be mandatory. No such charge shall
be made unless the station contracts therefor beforehand.
