CHAPTER 154

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
$3-89.1, relating to standards for construction or alteration of certain
access, feeder and service roads.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
33-39.1 as follows:

§ 33-39.1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the con-
struction or alteration of access, feeder or service streets and roads which
are to serve properties isolated by construction of the Interstate System
of Highways, shall meet all minimum State standards or the standards
of the cities or towns of more than 3500 population, or of counties which
maintain their own road networks, as provided for by ordinance, which-
ever are more strict.
