An Act to amend and reenact § 46.1-414 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to forms for and information to be contained in abstracts of gudg-
ments and convictions.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 46.1-414 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:
§ 46.1-414. Abstracts required by § 46.1-413 of this title shall be
made upon forms prepared by or approved by the Division of Motor
Vehicles and the Department of State Police. They shall include all *
information as to the parties to the case. In the event the abstract relates
to a person convicted or found not innocent of a charge described in
subdivision (a) or (b) of § 46.1-412 of this title, it shall include the nature
and date of the offense. the date of * conviction or findina of not innocent,
the plea, the judgment, the * penalty or forfeiture as the case may be;
and the operator’s or chauffeur’s license number tf any there be. the
month, day and year of birth, the sex and the residence address or where-
abouts of the defendant. Everv such abstract shall be certified by the
county or municipal judge or clerk of such county or municipal court or
clerk of a court of record as a true ahstract of the records of the court
as it relates to the charge, judgment and penalty.
