CHAPTER 148

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a section num-
bered 46.1-826.1, so as to authorize the Superintendent of State Police
to enter into reciprocity agreements with other states on motor vehicle

inspections.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a section
numbered 46.1-326.1, as follows:
§ 46.1-326.1. The Superintendent is hereby authorized to enter into,
and become signatory to, the Uniform Vehicle Inspection Reciprocity
Agreement, adopted by the American Association of Motor Vehicles Ad-
ministrators on January one, nineteen hundred sixty-seven, with such
other states as are party to such agreement.
