Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. (a). When a police officer of any city in this State having a pop
lation of more than sixty thousand and less than eighty thousand or |
any city having a population of more than two hundred thousand at
having no boundary or portion thereof contiguous with the boundary, §
any portion thereof, of any other municipal corporation shall be require
under subpoena to testify in any civil action as a witness, due to h
official conduct as a police officer when the events which gave rise ‘
