CHAPTER 661
An Act to authorize and direct the Commissioner of Fisheries to reestab-
lish and maintain fish hatcheries, and to appropriate funds.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Commissioner of Fisheries is authorized and directed to
maintain, for the same general purposes and upon the same general scale
as now maintained, the fish hatcheries operated by the Commission of
Fisheries near Lester Manor on the Pamunkey River at the Pamunkey
Indian Reservation and at the Mattaponi Reservation on the Mattaponi
River, both being in King William County.
2. There is hereby appropriated to the Commission of Fisheries out of
the general fund of the State treasury a sum sufficient to carry out the
purposes of this act.
3. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
