CHAPTER 623

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section relating to
certain notice to be given the Commissioner of the Division of Motor
Vehicles upon the cancellation of certain automobile liability insur-
ance.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section as follows:
When any policy of insurance covering liability arising out of the
ownership, maintenance or use of any motor vehicle is cancelled or termi-
nated the insurer or his agent shall report such fact to the Commissioner
within fifteen days of the cancellation thereof.
