CHAPTER 57

An Act to designate certain existing and proposed highways and portions
of highways as the ‘“‘Woodrow Wilson Parkway”, and provide for the
marking thereof.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The highway proposed to be constructed as Secondary Highway
Number 599, from its intersection with Interstate Highway Number 81 to
Its intersection with Primary Highway Number 11; Primary Highway
Number 11, now designated the Lee Highway, from such intersection south
to the corporate limits of the city of Staunton; and Primary Highway Num-
ber 250, now designated the Jefferson Highway, from the eastern corporate
limits of the city of Staunton east to its intersection with the Blue Ridge
Parkway and the Skyline Drive, are hereby designated and shall henceforth
be known as “The Woodrow Wilson Parkway”.

§ 2. The State Highway Department is directed to erect markers at
appropriate locations along such highways and portions of highway to indi-
cate such designation as “The Woodrow Wilson Parkway”.
